I needed a few root canals and had chipped some teeth. I was really pessimistic about my teeth because I had a chipped front tooth. One of my side teeth was chipped too. It was very noticeable, so I lost a lot of confidence in my appearance. I didn’t even want to talk to anyone. Thankfully, Dr. Dostis was able to fix everything. I didn’t feel any pain, and the results look so natural. The office was very calming and clean. I appreciated the high tech equipment. The entire staff was patient and welcoming. Ignore the poor reviews. I’ve been here a few separate times for different procedures, including extractions and a deep cleaning. Personally, I dread going to the dentist. However, I’ve never had a problem at Ridge Dental Associates. I never had to wait upon arrival, and the staff always made sure I was okay before proceeding with any part of the procedure. They give you numbing medication if you want it. They are also really good about informing you of the process and post care procedures. I appreciate the time they took to answer all my questions. My 7-year-old normally goes to a pedodontist, but she really wanted to go to my dentist, so I finally gave in and brought her to Ridge Dental Associates. Her lower permanent teeth were ready to come in, but her baby teeth weren’t loose yet. My daughter was anxiously awaiting the tooth fairy. Dr. Dostis was so patient with her even though we were the last appointment of the day. He didn’t rush. He helped pull her 2 lower teeth that were loose. My daughter was so excited to have two souvenirs to take home and put under her pillow. She told me it didn’t even hurt. That’s exactly what a mom wants to hear. She’s now begging to go back to Ridge Dental Associates so she can have her top two front baby teeth removed. I sure hope the tooth fairy is ready.

Dr. Dostis is excellent. I had previously had 2 wisdom teeth removed by two other dentists, and both times, it was a terrible experience. The first dentist did an awful job, but the second dentist nearly killed me. He numbed me with shots but didn’t operate until 90 minutes later when everything had worn off. I felt everything. It was literal torture. Those experiences were several years ago, but since then, my wife found Dr. Dostis. He recommended taking out my third wisdom tooth to prevent a wisdom tooth in order to prevent needing a root canal. When I went in for the procedure, I had flashbacks. The process only took a few minutes, and it was painless. It was the complete opposite of my previous experience. I think meeting Dr. Dostis was the first step to recovery. He has restored my faith in dentistry.

Dr. Dostis and his staff at Ridge Dental Associates are the best. I went in for a root canal today. I hadn’t been into the office for two and a half years, yet the staff remembered everything we’d talked about at my last visit. I was so impressed. I’m a bit of a wuss when it comes to going to the dentist, but the root canal went great. I didn’t experience any pain. They numbed me well and made sure that I was comfortable before they started the procedure. The procedure was 7 hours ago, and I have yet to be in pain. The prescription they gave me has worked wonders. I’d give them more than 5 stars if I could.

I returned from another cleaning at Ridge Dental Associates. I normally need a numbing agent, but the hygienist was so gentle that I didn’t feel any pain. My hygienist noticed that my hands were shaking and asked if I was nervous. I admitted I was, and she was so kind. I was a little cold, so she got me a blanket. Dr. Dostis was great. He numbed me very thoroughly and talked me through each step of the process. For the first time ever, I didn’t feel an ounce of pain, and my jaw didn’t lock. My kids use to the hate the dentist until we moved to Brooklyn and we found Dr. Dostis in the Bayridge area. My oldest daughter who is 23 still goes to him and plans to for a long time. The entire office is awesome. The front desk people are always friendly and easy to talk to. The hygienists are kind and knowledgeable, and so are the billing girls. Everyone is great. They truly care about their patients and their comfort. The office design is very kid-friendly with TVs, sunglasses for the bright lights and flavored teeth-cleaning creams. The waiting room has video games and toys, this place is just awesome. My youngest son had a cavity and he was extremely nervous, but he didn’t even see the needle. He thought it was a cream that made him numb. He’s only 9, so I think I’ll let him keep thinking that. He’s been going to her since he was 5 and he loves him. He used to hate the dentist, but thanks to Dr. Dostis he likes going. They give out no cavity treats and free toys, which he really enjoys. I wish she was an adult dentist too. This place is truly the best! Your kids will love this place.

This is the best dentist in Bayridge I’ve ever been to. I’ve had an exam, a base cleaning, and wisdom tooth extraction surgery, all done by Dr. Dostis. He is friendly and knowledgeable and answered all my questions thoroughly and patiently. He really cares about his patients. I was anxious about my wisdom teeth surgery but Dr. Dostis told me everything would be all right and I trusted him. I had zero pain during the surgery. I was surprised when he called me a day after the surgery to see how I was doing, and he even gave me some helpful tips.
