Do you have a severely decayed tooth that requires attention? If so, the placement of a dental crown could prevent further complications. The restoration is uniquely designed for your dentition and can provide function, health, and beauty to your smile. Our team can help connect you to a Courtland, AL dental professional who can restore your smile, and also who will accept Aetna. Do not risk an abscessed tooth!

The first signs of trouble could be an aching tooth. This could be due to the presence of decayed teeth. As discomfort worsens, you could risk an infected or abscessed tooth or even missing teeth. A trauma that chips a tooth could also lead to complications like tooth decay or infection with time. In such cases, restorative treatment could stop discomfort. If the tooth defect is too severe for a dental filling, then you may need crown placement.

The dental crown is a durable restoration. Once placed, this will cover the entire outer tooth structure. They could be made from strong materials like metal. However, many dentists in the Courtland, AL area offer more natural options fabricated from porcelain. The total placement process takes one to two visits on average. The dental crown, whether we use a metal or more aesthetic options, will be personalized for your smile. The custom nature of this dental prosthetic helps ensure a balanced occlusion, protecting your smile from complications like temporomandibular joint disorders. If you have teeth that need treatment then talk to Doctors Network. We can help you find the dental offices that meet your needs and accept Aetna.

It is paramount for your little ones to visit a dental professional on a biannual basis for dental visits and cleanings. By teaching children how to take care of their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for life. If you are looking for a pediatric dental professional in Courtland who accepts Aetna, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering exams and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your kid with dental sealants. These are thin pieces of film that go over their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a shield between their adult molars and germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of tooth decay by up to eighty percent. It is a simple procedure that is very effective at preventing the need for fillings in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another proven tool that your kids’ dentists provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps bolster your children’s enamel. While enamel is one of the most protective substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your little one’s teeth become more susceptible to decay. Fluoride treatment helps stop decay from occurring. Using fluoride toothpaste can also help. To learn more, we invite you to schedule an appointment with one of our pediatric dentists in Courtland.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
