Do you have an infected tooth that requires attention? If so, the placement of a dental crown could prevent further complications. The restoration is crafted for your dentition and can return beauty, function, and health to your smile. Our team can help connect you to a Killen, AL dental professional who can restore your smile, and also who will accept Aetna. Don’t risk an abscessed tooth!

The first signs of trouble could be an aching tooth. This could be due to the presence of decayed teeth. As discomfort worsens, you could risk worsening infection or even the loss of your tooth. An injury that chips a tooth could also lead to complications like tooth decay or infection with time. In these situations, restorative treatment could save the tooth. If the tooth defect is too severe for a filling, then you may need a full dental restoration.

The dental crown is a durable restoration. Once placed, this will cover the entire visible portion of your tooth. They could be made from strong materials like metal. However, many cosmetic dentists in the Killen, AL area offer more lifelike options entirely made from ceramic. The total placement process takes about two visits to complete. The restoration, whether we use a metal or more natural-looking options, will be custom-made for your smile. The custom nature of this dental prosthetic ensures a balanced bite, protecting your dentition from the development of TMD. If you have teeth that need restoration then use Doctors Network. We can help you find the dental offices that meet your needs and take Aetna.

It is paramount for kids to visit a dental professional on a semiannual basis for checkups and cleanings. By teaching children great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the skills to have healthy smiles for life. If you are looking for a kids’ dentist in Killen who accepts Aetna, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering examinations and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your kid with dental sealants. These are thin pieces of film that go over their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a shield between their back teeth and germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of decay by up to eighty percent. It is a simple treatment that is very effective at preventing the need for fillings in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another proven tool that your dentists provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps fortify your child’s teeth. While enamel is one of the most protective substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your child’s teeth become more susceptible to decay. Fluoride treatment prevents this from happening. Using fluoride toothpaste can also help. For more information, please schedule an appointment with one of our dental practices in Killen.

Many people would be elated to have a whiter smile. When you stroll down the aisles of any drug store, you see numerous products that promote their teeth whitening abilities. If you have tried any of these, you know that they almost always provide unsatisfying results. However, professional tooth whitening can actually produce a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Killen, AL that takes Aetna, we can help you find one that offers professional tooth whitening.

When you visit your Killen dental practice, they can provide you with either an at-home or in-office treatment. Should you opt for treatment in the office, you will only have to stay for roughly an hour. When you come in, your dentist will apply a bleaching gel to your front teeth that is then activated with a specialized light that removes discoloration.

If you would prefer to go with whitening at home, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill with a safe bleaching solution. You will put these on for a couple of hours each day for approximately two weeks. Once this treatment is complete, you will have a whiter and brighter smile. If you would like to request a visit with a Killen dentist that accepts Aetna, we can help you find a fantastic one.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
