One of the most common reasons to look for a dentist is to address pain in one or more teeth. While toothaches and sensitivity could occur for many different reasons, including sinus congestion, one that persists for more than a day could mean trouble. For example, a persistent toothache could be caused by the presence of a cavity, the early stages of a dental infection, or as a result of weakened enamel due to teeth grinding. When you have an aching tooth, you most likely need a filling placed. Doctors Network can help connect you to a dentist in the Harvest, AL community who takes Aetna!

When the dental professional examines you, imaging technology is used to assess the cause and extent of the cavity. then, a dental restoration is chosen. For kids and adults alike, a dental filling made from biocompatible material could bring relief. A crown could also be used to treat major cavities. When possible, the dentist will take steps to use more lifelike options, so they ensure an attractive smile. If you have a toothache, use our search page to find Harvest dentists who take walk-ins and request an appointment in seconds.

Did you ever notice popping or crackling sound in the jaw? Do you have persistent migraines? If so, this could be related to widespread jaw joint disorders. Around 25 million people in the United States suffer from TMJ disorder or bruxism. Without treatment, these could not only cause pain, but actually damage the teeth too! Fortunately, your friends at Doctors Network can find the right dentist in Harvest, AL who accepts Aetna.

While very different from one another, one often increases the risk of the other. TMJ disorder develops when the joints connecting the jaw and skull are stressed. This could cause problems when you eat or speak. Common symptoms include pain in the jaw, head, and neck. Bruxism means you suffer from nightly teeth grinding. The pressure could cause jaw pain and headaches. Teeth grinding could also damage teeth. This damage could lead to decay, infection, and more. Both disorders could be caused by issues that upset bite balance, and untreated TMJ disorder could cause bruxism, and vice-versa. When you have frequent discomfort in your head and neck, you should find help. We can even connect you with a dental professional in Harvest who accepts Aetna.

Treatment options often vary; for some, relief is possible following dental bonding, which improves bite balance. For others, treating malocclusion with aligners or braces could ease strain and stop symptoms. The most common option offered by most dental professionals is an oral appliance, which fits like a nightguard. If you need to find treatment from a Harvest dentist. then contact our team!

Do you have an infected tooth that requires attention? If so, the placement of a dental crown could prevent further complications. The dental crown is uniquely designed for your dentition and can return function, health, and beauty to your smile. Our team can help connect you to a Harvest, AL dentist who can restore your smile, and also who will accept Aetna. Don’t risk an infection!

One of the first signs of trouble could be an aching tooth. This could mean the presence of tooth decay. As toothache worsens, you could risk the spread of infection or even the loss of your tooth. A trauma that fractures a tooth could also lead to complications like infection and tooth decay with time. In such cases, restorative treatment is usually necessary. If the tooth defect is too severe for a tooth-colored filling, then you may need a full dental restoration.

The dental crown is a complete dental restoration. Once placed, this will cover everything above the gum line. They could be made from strong materials like metal alloys. However, many dental professionals in the Harvest, AL area offer more natural options entirely made from ceramic. The total placement process takes one to two visits on average. The crown, whether we use a metal or more lifelike options, will be personalized for your smile. The custom nature of this dental prosthetic ensures a balanced occlusion, protecting your smile from the development of TMD. If you have teeth that need treatment then use Doctors Network. We can help you find the dental practices that meet your needs and accept Aetna.

It is important for kids to visit a dental professional twice a year for dental visits and cleanings. By teaching children great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for ever. If you are looking for a kids dentist in Harvest who accepts Aetna, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering examinations and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your child with dental sealants. These are small pieces of BPA-free acrylic that dentists paint onto their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a protective layer between their adult teeth and bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of decay by up to eighty percent. It is a simple tool that is very effective at preventing cavities on adult teeth in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another proven tool that your pediatric dental professionals provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps bolster your child’s enamel. While enamel is one of the most durable substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your kid’s teeth become more susceptible to decay. Fluoride treatment helps stop decay from occurring. Using fluoride toothpaste can also help. To learn more, we invite you to schedule an appointment with one of our network dental professionals in Harvest.

Many people would be elated to have a whiter smile. When you stroll down the aisles of any pharmacy, you see myriad products that promote their teeth whitening abilities. If you have tried any of these, you know that they almost always provide disappointing results. However, professional tooth bleaching can actually give you a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Harvest, AL that takes Aetna, we can help you find one that offers professional tooth whitening.

When you visit your Harvest dentist, they can provide you with either an at-home or in-office treatment. With the in-office option, you will typically be out within about an hour, and you will have noticeably whiter teeth. When you visit the office for whitening, your dentist will apply a special bleaching gel that, when activated by a special light, will get rid of stains.

If you would prefer to choose an at-home treatment, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill with a safe whitening solution. You will wear these for one or two hours each day for approximately 2 weeks. Once this treatment is done, you will have a more radiant smile. If you would like to request an appointment with a Harvest dentist that accepts Aetna, we can help you find a great one.

If it has been at least half a year since you last visited a dentist, you should schedule a consultation as soon as possible. When you go in for consistent visits, your dentist can thoroughly examine your smile to make sure nothing is amiss. This helps prevent tooth decays from occurring, minimizing the chance of needing more invasive procedures in the future. If you are looking for a dentist in Harvest, AL that accepts Aetna we can help you find a great match.

To begin your visit, a hygienist will clean your teeth thoroughly. This will remove built-up that is difficult to remove at home — even with great brushing and flossing habits. The dental cleaning will leave your smile feeling rejuvenated.

Once your cleaning is over, your Harvest dentist will begin his examination. During this portion of your appointment, the dentist will thoroughly look at your dentition to identify any potential complications. If they find anything amiss, they will explain your treatment options. The Harvest dental practice we set you up with will offer a myriad of services to address a variety of dental complications. If you visit the dentist regularly they can keep track of the health of your smile. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a visit with a dentist that accepts Aetna, we can help you find a great one.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
