It is paramount for your little ones to visit the dentist on a semiannual basis for dental visits and cleanings. By teaching children great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the skills to have healthy smiles for life. If you are looking for a dentist in Point Mackenzie who accepts Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering checkups and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your child with dental sealants. Sealants are thin layers of film that go on top of their back teeth. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their back molars and germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of infection by up to 80%. It is a simple service that is very effective at preventing cavities in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another proven tool that your dentists provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps fortify your child’s enamel layer. While enamel is one of the strongest substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your child’s teeth become more susceptible to damage. This procedure helps mitigate this damage. Using fluoride toothpaste can also help. For more information, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with one of our dental practices in Point Mackenzie.

Many individuals would be ecstatic to have a whiter smile. When you walk down the aisles of any pharmacy, you see myriad products that tout their teeth whitening abilities. If you have tried any of these, you know that they almost always provide unsatisfying results. However, professional tooth whitening can actually provide a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Point Mackenzie, AK that works with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, we can help you find one that offers professional teeth whitening.

When you visit your Point Mackenzie dentist, they can provide you with either an in-office or at-home treatment. If you choose the in-office treatment, you will have brighter teeth within about an hour. For this option, your dentist will apply a gel solution to your teeth that they will then activate with a special light, to remove stains.

If you would prefer to get whitening at home, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can use along with a safe bleaching solution. You will wear these for a few hours each day for approximately two weeks. Once this treatment is over, you will have a whiter smile. If you would like to request an appointment online with a Point Mackenzie dentist that takes Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, we can help you find a fantastic one.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.
