tooth-bonding

If you have a broken tooth or one that is misshapen or stained, then you might need cosmetic dentistry. With enameloplasty and tooth-color fillings in Equality, AL, these aesthetic imperfections can be corrected in only one sitting. At Doctors Network, we aim to help connect you with a restorative dentist in Equality, AL who accepts Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and can tackle your oral health concerns. You may not be aware just how much cosmetic dentistry can correct in a single sitting.

Tooth-colored restoration repairs esthetic concerns with composite resin materials. The bonding material, a blend of glass and acrylic particles, is shaded and placed onto the prepared area. Equality dentists also use the same material to repair dental caries. With contouring, the dentist sands and buffs the outer tooth surfaces to correct issues with a tooth’s balance and shape.

This week we are honoring our Brooklyn cosmetic dentists. Using these two dental services, these dentists can reshape malformed teeth, fixed broken or fractured teeth, mask unattractive teeth stains, and close spaces between teeth.

One of the most common reasons to search for a dentist is pain in one or more teeth. While temporary aches could occur for multiple reasons, including sinus problems, one that persists for more than a day could be a sign of a deeper problem. For instance, a lingering toothache could be caused by tooth decay, the early stages of a dental abscess, or as a result of weakened tooth structure due to teeth grinding and clenching. When you have a toothache that lingers, you probably need a dental restoration. Doctors Network can help connect you to a dentist in the Equality, AL community who takes Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield!

When the dentist examines your teeth, advanced technology is used to assess the severity of the cavity. then, the appropriate treatment option is chosen. For children and adults alike, a tooth-filling made from a composite resin could bring relief. A crown could also be used to treat major cavities. When possible, the dentist will take steps to utilize more lifelike options, so they offer a natural appearance. Did you ever notice popping or cracking when you open your mouth? Do you have frequent headaches or jaw pain? If so, this could be related to widespread jaw joint disorders. Around 25 million people in the United States suffer from chronic bruxism and TMJ dysfunction. Without treatment, these could not only lead to painful symptoms, but actually crack or chip a tooth! Fortunately, your friends at Doctors Network can connect you to a dental professional in Equality, AL who accepts Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.

While very different from one another, we often find these are related. TMJ disorder develops when the jaw joints undergo excessive strain. This could cause problems when you eat or speak. Common symptoms include pain in the head and neck. Bruxism means you grind or clench your teeth nightly. The stress caused by grinding could cause jaw pain. Teeth grinding could also weaken and damage the tooth structure. This damage could lead to decay, infection, and more. Both disorders could be caused by issues that upset bite balance, and untreated TMJ disorder could mean eventual teeth grinding, and vice-versa. When you have chronic pain in your head and neck, you should find help. We can even connect you with a dentist in Equality who accepts Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.

There are, however, multiple treatment options available; for some, relief is possible following dental bonding, which improves bite balance. For others, treating malocclusion with braces could ease strain and stop symptoms. The most common option most dentists offer is an oral appliance, which fits like a mouthguard. If you need to find treatment from a Equality dentist. then contact our team!

Tooth decays are common threats to oral health, and without treatment could lead to painful infections or even the increased risk of tooth loss. When you have discomfort that lingers for a while, then you likely have a tooth decay that needs treatment. If you have discomfort in a tooth, and you need to find a dental office near you who accepts patients with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, search for dentists in Equality on Doctors Network.

Dental caries form when the outer layer of enamel is weakened. The erosion of the enamel often occurs due to lack of good oral hygiene habits, such as not brushing and flossing regularly. A diet high in sugary foods is another common factor. Once tooth decay forms, it will grow unless treated, and lack of treatment could actually mean worsening pain and a diseased tooth. Signs of tooth decay include aching teeth. When you experience pain in a tooth, don’t delay. Our network can help connect you with a dentist in Equality for caries risk assessment.

Treating a case of tooth decay often means placing a white filling or an amalgam filling. First, the dentist will remove the decay from the tooth. Next, metal or composite resin material is added to the tooth. The dentist then shapes the filling as it hardens. The entire process only takes one visit. A restoration helps stop discomfort and protects the smile from complications like abscesses. If you need to find out how much a dental filling costs with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield in Equality, AL, then utilize Doctors Network. You can even sign up for a dental plan and set up an online appointment. We can help you find the right dentist for your oral health needs!

It is imperative for your little ones to visit the dentist on a semiannual basis for exams and cleanings. By teaching your children how to take care of their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the knowledge to have healthy smiles for life. If you are looking for a pediatric dental professional in Equality who accepts Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering checkups and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your child with sealants. Sealants are thin layers of film that go on top of their back teeth. They work as a protective film that forms a shield between their permanent teeth and harmful germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of tooth decay by up to 80 percent. It is a simple tool that is very effective at preventing the need for fillings in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another effective tool that your pediatric dentists provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps bolster your child’s enamel. While enamel is one of the strongest substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your kid’s teeth become more susceptible to decay. Fluoride treatment helps stop decay from occurring. Using fluoride toothpaste can also help. For more information, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with one of our pediatric dentists in Equality.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
