When a tooth develops an infection, treatment is required. Without care, the tooth could essentially die. At this stage, the tooth might need to be extracted. Otherwise, the infection moves into other parts of the smile. Often, a better treatment for an infected tooth is root canal therapy. This procedure is effective, but sometimes a tooth becomes infected again, and retreatment could be needed. You may need to book an emergency dental visit with one of our Wasilla dentists for additional endodontic treatment.

A root canal involves removing the tissues from inside of the tooth. The interiors and root canals are cleaned with care, and a restorative material known as gutta-percha is then administered. Often, the tooth is then restored with a tooth crown. The restoration is often custom-made to protect the tooth and also blend with the smile. But if the procedure does not go as expected, the prognosis of the condition could be compromised. The tooth could begin developing symptoms, such as toothaches and discomfort when biting down. If you experience this, do not risk the loss of your teeth. Doctors Network can connect you with an emergency dental services provider in Wasilla, AK that can offer another root canal and accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield.

If you don’t have dental insurance don’t let that discourage you! Doctors Network can offer a discount dental plan to make care affordable. With a monthly membership fee, you can receive a root canal retreatment at a reasonable cost!

When a tooth is decayed, it could become an infected tooth. The presence of infection means serious discomfort, and without treatment, it could lead to tooth loss. This is why your tooth may need treatment. Fortunately, there are options available to bring relief. Our network can help connect you to a Wasilla dentist for root canal therapy. We can also help find a dentist that accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield.

A dental infection means that harmful bacteria have made contact with interior nerve tissues. The pulp is the nerve center of the tooth, and it keeps the tooth healthy. Lack of intervention for an infection could allow symptoms to grow worse. A common warning sign of trouble could include toothaches. Don’t ignore unexplained discomfort. Talk to our team about finding a Wasilla dental professional who accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield and other forms of coverage.

A root canal procedure is a gentle endodontic treatment that can be completed in one sitting. Essentially, after the dental specialist examines the tooth, the diseased pulp tissues are removed from within. The interior of the tooth is cleaned, and a restorative filling is added. The last step involves capping the tooth with a custom-made dental crown. The cap is designed to protect the tooth and blend with the smile. This procedure helps relieve the pain.

Good dental hygiene habits can help lower your risk of future cavities and dental infections. Routine six-month visits help as well. If you’re looking for root canal therapy in Wasilla for an infected tooth, contact Doctors Network or book an online appointment. You have options, and we know how to find practices that accept Blue Cross Blue Shield.

It is essential for kids to visit the dentist bi-yearly for exams and cleanings. By teaching children great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for many years. If you are looking for a dentist in Wasilla who takes Blue Cross Blue Shield, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering checkups and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your kid with dental sealants. Sealants are thin layers of film that go on top of their back teeth. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their back teeth and bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of decay by up to eighty percent. It is a simple tool that is very effective at preventing cavities in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another effective tool that your pediatric dentists provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps fortify your children’s enamel layer. While enamel is one of the most protective substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your child’s teeth become more susceptible to dental caries. Fluoride treatment prevents this from happening. Using fluoride toothpaste can also help. To learn more, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with one of our dental practices in Wasilla.

Many people would be elated to have a whiter smile. When you walk down the aisles of any drug store, you see countless products that promote their teeth whitening abilities. If you have tried any of these, you know that they almost always provide disappointing results. However, professional teeth whitening can actually give you a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Wasilla, AK that accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, we can help you find one that offers professional teeth whitening.

When you visit your Wasilla dental practice, they can provide you with either an in-office or even at-home treatment. If you choose the in-office treatment, you will have brighter teeth within about an hour. For this option, your dentist will apply a gel solution to your teeth that they will then activate with a special light, to remove stains.

If you would prefer to go with whitening at home, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can use along with a safe bleaching solution. You will wear these for a few hours each day for roughly 2 weeks. Once this treatment is done, you will have a brighter smile. If you would like to schedule an appointment online with a Wasilla dentist that accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, we can help you find a fantastic one.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.
