As adolescents, we lose our primary teeth as a natural part of growing up. However, as adults, losing teeth is often due to injury. Periodontitis leads to major tooth loss. Since missing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means problems. You could have difficulties consuming solid foods. Problems speaking clearly may develop. Finally, you could risk impacting your smile alignment, or even smile’s stability. You need a dedicated private dentist in Lowndesboro, AL who can provide prosthetic dentistry. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help find a local dentist.

First, we will help connect you to a dentist in your area. Once we do, your new dentist can evaluate your smile to understand the factors behind your tooth loss. For mild cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, restoring smile function. For multiple missing teeth, partial dentures could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete denture or CD could be prescribed. While most fulls and partial dentures are removable, they could be stablized with multiple dental implants. Dental implants are secured like natural teeth, and stimulate bone preservation in your jaw and facial structure following losing a tooth.

If you live in the Lowndesboro area and need a solution for tooth loss, let us know. We can help you get started on receiving the tooth replacement you need. A full smile is possible, even if you’ve lost all of your teeth, and even if years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please applaud our dentists in Nashville, TN with us this week.

When you are down a tooth, it is important to fill in the gap as quickly as possible. While there are clear aesthetic benefits, replacing your tooth can also help maintain the health of your bone and mouth in general. The process of completing your smile may seem daunting, but a fixed partial denture is a simple yet effective way to replace either one missing tooth or several that are next to each other. If you are looking for a dentist in Lowndesboro, AL that takes your insurance plan we can help you find one that can restore missing teeth with a fixed partial denture.

When you visit your Lowndesboro dental professional, they can decide if a dental bridge is the best option for you. As noted, fixed partial dentures are most often used when someone has either a single missing tooth or a couple missing teeth next to one another. This is because this prosthetic is usually supported by existing teeth that are equipped with crowns to provide additional support. Because it is held in place by existing teeth, this option is a more permanent solution.

Porcelain bridges are often made with advanced, bio-compatible porcelain that looks just like your existing teeth. This ensures that your prosthetic seamlessly assimilates with the rest of your smile. Before your custom-fitted bridge is made, your dentist will take detailed images of your teeth, so it will be crafted to your exact needs. If you would like to schedule a visit with a Lowndesboro dentist that takes your insurance plan, we can help you find a fantastic one.

To prevent these complications, you need help from a good dental practice around Lowndesboro, and we can connect you to dental professionals that accept dental insurance!

What happens when you lose your teeth? Well, the surrounding teeth could shift, leading to crooked or crowded teeth. The pressure on your jaw joints and bite balance could lead to painful complications, like jaw joint strain and chronic teeth grinding. You could have difficulty enjoying a variety of meal options, and speaking clearly could be difficult as well. But the most serious complication is the break down of the jawbone structure. This means the stability of your smile is compromised. In addition, facial structure changes could make you appear older! But help is available, as Lowndesboro dental professionals could discuss advanced prosthetics, such as bridges and implants, and select treatment options that could be covered with dental insurance.

Fixed partial dentures could replace one to three missing teeth in a row. All on 4 dental implants could replace the majority or all of your natural teeth. For the perfect solution to your tooth loss, you could find the best Lowndesboro dentists that perform dental implants. Do not let your smile continue to degrade, and talk to our team about finding a prosthodontist!

It is paramount for children to visit the dentist every six months for exams and cleanings. By teaching kids how to take care of their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for life. If you are looking for a kids dentist in Lowndesboro who takes uninsured patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering examinations and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your kids with protective sealants. These are thin pieces of film that go over their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a protective layer between their molars and germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of decay by up to 80 percent. It is a simple service that is very effective at preventing cavities in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another great tool that your pediatric dental professionals provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps bolster your children’s enamel layer. While enamel is one of the most protective substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your little one’s teeth become more susceptible to decay. Fluoride treatment helps stop decay from occurring. Using high-fluoride toothpaste can also help. To learn more, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with one of our dental practices in Lowndesboro.

Many folks would prefer to have a whiter smile. When you walk down the aisles of any grocery store, you see countless products that advertise their teeth whitening abilities. If you have purchased any of these, you know that they almost always provide disappointing results. However, professional tooth whitening can actually give you a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Lowndesboro, AL that takes patients without dental insurance, we can help you find one that offers professional teeth whitening.

When you visit your Lowndesboro dentist, they can provide you with either an at-home or in-office treatment option. Should you opt for treatment in the office, you will only have to stay for roughly an hour. When you visit the office for whitening, your dentist will apply a special bleaching gel that, when activated by a special light, will get rid of stains.

If you would prefer to choose whitening at home, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill up with a safe bleaching or peroxide solution. You will wear these for a few hours each day for about 2 weeks. Once this treatment is done, you will have a whiter smile. If you would like to book an appointment online with a Lowndesboro dentist that takes patients without dental insurance, we can help you find the best ones.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
