After going to my usual dentist for 6 years, I got really sick of waiting for them to get to my appointment, hasty cleaning and procedures, and incomplete dental assessments, so I started looking for a new dentist. I’m so glad I went to Schambeau Dental Care in Bessemer, AL! The second I set foot in the office, all the staff members were extremely friendly and very helpful, answering any questions I had. After waiting only 2 minutes, they took me to the back. They thoroughly but quickly assessed my gums and teeth. Afterward, Dr. Schambeau told me that I needed a crown on one of my teeth. He taught me what the crown is used for and even explained what he was seeing in my x-rays. After I gave him the go-ahead, he started the procedure the same day, placing a temporary crown over my tooth. Dr. Schambeau was fantastic! I didn’t even have any pain during the procedure, and he and the hygienist were both very conscientious. They told me my permanent crown would be ready in 2 weeks, but it was actually done in under 1 week. I just had my permanent crown placed, and I can honestly say that Schambeau Dental Care did a fantastic job. I highly recommend them to all my family and friends!

A common reason to seek dental care is a toothache. While temporary aches could occur for many different reasons, including sinus problems, one that persists for more than a day could be a sign of a deeper problem. For instance, a lingering tooth pain could be caused by the presence of a cavity, the early stages of a dental abscess, or as a result of weakened enamel due to teeth grinding and clenching. When you have an aching tooth, you most likely need a filling placed. Doctors Network can help locate dental care in the Cleveland, AL area who takes walk-ins!

When the dentist examines you, imaging technology is used to assess the cause and extent of the cavity. From there, the right treatment is chosen. For children and adults alike, a dental filling made from a metal-free material could bring relief. A crown could also be used to address more severe cases. When possible, the dentist will take steps to use more lifelike options, so they ensure an attractive smile. If you have an aching tooth, use our search module to find Cleveland dentists who are open on Sundays and request an appointment in seconds.

Adults are not the only ones who benefit from regular dental care. Adolescents require routine dental exams as well, and they need to be monitored by a pediatric dentist for signs of threats to their oral health. This could include dental malocclusion, or for teens, the eruption of the third molars. If you need to request an online appointment a pediatric dental professional in Cleveland, AL with experience treating smiles of all ages, then Doctors Network is ready to help you.

Routine examinations should begin as early as age two, and continue every six months. These visits enable your Cleveland pediatric dentist to watch the smile over time, and if areas of concern develop, such as toothaches, or gingivitis, then treatment might be required. In addition, kids can often receive a topical fluoride gel to strengthen the outer enamel of their dentition and prevent tooth cavities. Dental sealants, which coat the grooves on top of the back molars, can strengthen vulnerable adult teeth. In fact, sealants can provide protection against tooth cavities for as long as a decade in some cases.

If you are searching for family dentists in Cleveland who can offer care for kids, contact us. We want to help you find affordable dental care. With routine care kids not only enjoy strong and healthy smiles, but they also understand the importance of good oral hygiene. Good oral health habits can start them on the path to a lifetime of healthy smiles. All of it starts with that first checkup and cleaning. So, use our search tool to find the right practice for you and your children!

We have reached the season when adults and children will be playing sports. While we hope everyone has a great time, we know that dental injuries are possible. In some situations, especially when it comes to contact sports, teeth could become cracked or chipped, and when trauma occurs, you need emergency treatment. Even minor damages could lead to an increased risk of infected or abscessed teeth. Doctors Network can help you find a dental care provider in Cleveland, AL who can examine the situation.

The outer layer of the tooth is coated in enamel. The enamel protects the sensitive inner structures from bacteria, and from the onset of tooth decay. But when a tooth is broken, chipped, or cracked, it could increase the risk of tooth decay. You need treatment before your tooth is compromised. Likewise, you can always let us know if you need a Cleveland dentist who accepts patients without dental insurance for less severe emergencies. Persistent discomfort and objects caught between the teeth could compromise your smile. Don’t forget that knocked out teeth could lead to weakened smiles as well. You also need care if a tooth filling or crown comes loose!

After you visit Doctors Network and begin looking for your Cleveland, AL dentist, you should take action by taking over-the-counter medications to ease discomfort. A piece of gauze can control any bleeding. Using an ice pack can ease facial swelling too. If a tooth is damaged or knocked loose, recover the tooth or any pieces and bring them with you. They can be placed in a glass of milk or salt water.

When spring arrives, people start going out more and enjoying the beautiful weather, and of course, we want an attractive smile when we socialize, which is why many people seek to undergo cosmetic treatment. Cosmetic dentistry refers to procedures designed purely to correct common esthetic issues. Teeth stains can be removed, and teeth crowding can be treated with orthodontics. At Doctors Network, we understand the value of better oral health. We want to help connect you to Cleveland cosmetic dentists who take on patients who have no dental coverage and can offer the range of treatment needed to transform your teeth.

You can start cosmetic treatments with a comprehensive exam with your cosmetic dentist in Cleveland, AL. The doctor will carefully examine your smile. Using digital x-rays for a precise diagnosis, the dentist will assess the extent and cause of your cosmetic concerns in order to come up with the best treatment plan. For stains, professional teeth whitening could remove discolorations. Dental bonding and contouring can reshape your teeth in one visit. Gum contouring employs dental lasers to reshape the gum line and protect your periodontal health. Porcelain veneers are cosmetic restorations that change a tooth’s shape and color, and for those with major misalignment, braces might be the treatment of choice.

If you do not have a cosmetic dentist in the Cleveland, AL area, we can find a dental care provider for you! Visit Doctors Network to find a provider in your area who accepts patients with no dental coverage. We want to help you obtain a smile that looks amazing!

According to the research by the CDC, over half of the population ages 30 and older suffer from gingival disease. Without intervention, this disease could lead to painful symptoms, including bleeding gums. The advanced stage, referred to as periodontitis, could also cause adult tooth loss. This is why care from a Cleveland dental specialist is necessary when you begin to experience sore, red, and bleeding gums. We can help by connecting you to one that accepts patients without dental insurance. After all, your smile is important!

How does the gum disease start? The disease could occur due to improper brushing and flossing. Some could develop it due to infrequent dental cleanings, or due to certain medications, tobacco use, inflammation, or even other family members with poor gum health. As we touched on above, warning signs include sore, red, and bleeding gums. By seeing a dentist in Cleveland, AL you can receive periodontal treatments like scaling and root planing to bring relief and improve your oral health. These options could be accepted by insurance plans.

If you recognize these symptoms, or if you simply haven’t been to a dentist in the last six months, you should book an appointment. At Doctors Network, we can connect you to dentists in Cleveland who accept patients without dental insurance. A healthy and whole smile is always possible, and we can help facilitate this process!

It is crucial for children to visit a pediatric dentist every six months for exams and cleanings. By teaching children how to take care of their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for life. If you are looking for a pediatric dentist in Cleveland who takes patients with no dental coverge, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering examinations and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your kid with sealants. These are small pieces of BPA-free acrylic that dentists paint onto their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their back teeth and germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of tooth decay by up to eighty percent. It is a simple tool that is very effective at preventing cavities on adult teeth in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another effective tool that your dentists provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps bolster your child’s teeth. While enamel is one of the most protective substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your kid’s teeth become more susceptible to damage. Fluoride treatment prevents this from happening. Using toothpaste that has fluoride can also help. To learn more, we invite you to schedule an appointment with one of our dental practices in Cleveland.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
