dental-implants-or-bridge

As adolescents, we lose our primary teeth as a natural part of growing up. However, in adulthood, losing teeth is often due to injury. Periodontitis could be responsible as well. Since missing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means problems. You could have difficulties eating. Problems speaking are a common consequence. Finally, you could risk negative changes to your smile alignment, or even your youthful features. You need an awesome Cigna dentist in Moose Pass, AK who can correct your tooth loss. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help find a local dentist.

First, we will connect you to a skilled dentist near you. Then, your new dentist can inspect your smile to diagnose the conditions for your missing teeth. For less severe cases, a dental bridge could be placed, addressing one to three lost teeth in a row. For multiple missing teeth, partials could offer a solution and rebuild your smile. Finally, a complete set of dentures could be crafted and secured. While most complete dentures and partials are removable, they could be secured with dental implants. Dental implants essentially look and function like natural teeth, and preserve bone density in your alveolar bone and facial structure following losing a tooth.

If you live in the Moose Pass area and have unsightly gaps in your smile, let us know. We can help you get started on receiving the tooth replacement you need. A full smile is possible, even if you’ve lost all of your teeth, and even if many years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please applaud our dentists in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you have a sleep disorder, you may not assume a dentist could help. In fact, Cigna dentists can often provide a non-invasive option to help you breathe better while sleeping. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a condition in which when you sleep, the soft tissues in the throat and the tissues around the throat collapse and interrupt your sleep cycle. People actually stop breathing for a few moments until the brain alerts the body to resume breathing. Even if you think you slept well, you’re actually sleep deprived! But when should you talk to Doctors Network to find Moose Pass, AK dentists who could offer treatment with oral appliance therapy?

Symptoms of sleep apnea could include loud and frequent snoring. Daytime drowsiness, headaches, and even irritability could occur too. Without treatment, sleep apnea could even impact your immune system and heart health. When you notice similar symptoms, consider seeing a dental professional. Often, oral appliance therapy can be used as a CPAP alternative, so you can finally sleep well.

This week we are honoring our dental professionals near Manhattan, NY.

tooth-bonding

If you have a fractured tooth or one that is misshapen or stained, then you could benefit from a cosmetic consultation. With contouring and dental bonding in Moose Pass, AK, these aesthetic imperfections can be treated in one visit. At Doctors Network, we aim to help connect you with a restorative dentist in Moose Pass, AK who accepts Cigna and can tackle your oral health concerns. You may be surprised to discover just how much bonding and contouring can correct in a single sitting.

Tooth bonding repairs cosmetic concerns with composite resin materials. The bonding material, a mix of glass and acrylic particles, is shaded and placed in the tooth preparation. Moose Pass general dentists also use this material for fillings. With dental contouring, the dentist buffs and sands the outer tooth structure to correct the appearances of cosmetic concerns.

Today we are celebrating our Brooklyn local dentists. With both dental services, these dentists can reshape malformed teeth, tackle dental emergencies, mask teeth stains, and even close embarrassing gaps between teeth.

You can’t put a price on showing off a perfect smile, but as we get older, many of us struggle with tooth loss. Missing teeth could lead to trouble with eating and speaking, and can even lead to an older appearance. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to implants and fixed dentures. Unlike traditional options, such as dentures or bridges, these are connected to posts inserted into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like dentures are securely attached to these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but several decades with proper care and attention.

Are you ready to replace missing teeth with dental implants? If you are wondering how much a dental implant costs near you in Moose Pass, you are not alone, but firstly, you should find a Moose Pass dentist who can offer surgical placement of dental implants. Doctors Network can help you with this, connecting you to a dentist who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also takes Cigna. Same-day appointments are usually available. You can even sign up for a Doctors Network dental plan to reduce the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will assess the state of your smile. Underlying issues such as periodontitis may need to be treated before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer new teeth that look and function like natural dentition!
