Perhaps, the most common reason to seek dental care is discomfort caused by cavities. While sudden discomfort could occur for multiple reasons, including sinus problems, one that persists for more than a day could mean trouble. For example, a lasting tooth pain could be caused by the presence of a cavity, the early stages of a dental infection, or as a result of weakened tooth structure due to teeth grinding and clenching. When you have an aching tooth, you probably need a dental restoration. Doctors Network can help locate dental care in the Pine Level, AL community who takes new patients!

When the dental professional examines you, digital x-rays are used to assess the severity of the cavity. From there, the right treatment is chosen. For children and adults alike, a dental filling made from a metal-free material could bring relief. A crown could also be used to treat more severe cases. When possible, the dentist will take steps to use more lifelike options, so they blend with the smile. If you have persistent discomfort, use our search module to connect with Pine Level dentists who are open on Saturdays and book an appointment online.

Have you experienced a popping sensation in your jaw? Do you have aching jaw and facial pain? If so, this could be related to a common but serious oral health issue. Around twenty-five million people in the United States suffer from chronic bruxism and TMJ dysfunction. Without treatment, these could not only lead to painful symptoms, but actually wear down outer tooth structure! Fortunately, your friends at Doctors Network can connect you to a dental office in Pine Level, AL who accepts patients with no insurance.

While very different from one another, we often find these are related. TMJ disorder develops when the joints connecting the jaw and skull are stressed. This could cause problems when you eat or speak. Common symptoms include pain in the face, head and neck, and jaw. Bruxism means you suffer from nightly teeth grinding. The pressure could cause jaw pain. Teeth grinding could also damage teeth. This damage could lead to decayed teeth, infection, and more. Both disorders could be caused by issues that upset bite balance, and untreated TMJ disorder could cause bruxism, and vice-versa. When you have frequent discomfort in your head and neck, you should find help. We can even connect you with a dentist in Pine Level who accepts patients with no insurance.

There are, however, multiple treatment options available; for some, relief is possible following dental bonding, which improves bite balance. For others, treating malocclusion with Invisalign could ease strain and stop symptoms. The most common option offered by most dentists is an oral appliance, which fits like a night-guard. If you need to find treatment from a Pine Level dentist. then contact our team!

Do you have a crackled or chipped tooth that requires attention? If so, the placement of a dental crown could treat your concerns. The restoration is crafted for your smile and can provide beauty, function, and health to your smile. Our team can help connect you to a Pine Level, AL dental professional who can restore your teeth, and also who will accept private patients. Don’t risk an infection!

One of the initial signs of trouble could be a tooth sensitivity. This could be due to the presence of decayed teeth. As toothache worsens, you could risk an infected or abscessed tooth or even the loss of your tooth. A trauma that fractures a tooth could also lead to complications like infection with time. In these situations, restorative treatment is usually necessary. If the tooth defect is too severe for a filling, then you may need crown placement.

The dental crown is a durable restoration. Once placed, this will cover everything above the gum line. They could be made from very strong, biocompatible materials like silver. However, lots of dentists in the Pine Level, AL area offer more lifelike options crafted from resin. The total placement process takes two individual dental appointments. The restoration, whether we use a metal or more lifelike options, will be custom-made for your smile. The custom nature of this dental prosthetic helps ensure a balanced bite, protecting your teeth from the development of TMD. If you have a tooth that needs treatment then contact Doctors Network. We can help you find the dental offices that fit your needs and accept private patients.

It is important for children to visit a pediatric dentist on a semiannual basis for checkups and cleanings. By teaching your children how to take care of their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the skills to have healthy smiles for life. If you are looking for a kids’ dentist in Pine Level who takes uninsured patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering examinations and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your little one with sealants. These are small pieces of BPA-free acrylic that dentists paint onto their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a shield between their molars and harmful bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of decay by up to eighty percent. It is a simple service that is very effective at preventing cavities in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another great tool that your dentists provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps fortify your child’s enamel. While enamel is one of the most protective substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your kid’s teeth become more susceptible to dental caries. Fluoride treatment prevents this from happening. Using toothpaste that has fluoride can also help. To learn more, please schedule an appointment with one of our pediatric dentists in Pine Level.

Many folks would prefer to have a whiter smile. When you venture down the aisles of any drug store, you see numerous products that advertise their teeth whitening abilities. If you have purchased any of these, you know that they almost always provide unsatisfying results. However, professional tooth whitening can actually produce a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Pine Level, AL that works with patients with no dental insurance, we can help you find one that offers professional tooth whitening.

When you visit your Pine Level dentist, they can provide you with either an at-home or in-office option. With the in-office option, you will typically be out within about an hour, and you will have noticeably whiter teeth. When you come in, your dentist will apply a bleaching gel to your front teeth that is then activated with a specialized light that removes discoloration.

If you would prefer to choose whitening from the comfort of your home, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill with a safe peroxide or bleaching solution. You will wear these for a few hours each day for about two weeks. Once this treatment is over, you will have a whiter and brighter smile. If you would like to book an appointment with a Pine Level dentist that takes patients with no dental insurance, we can help you find a great one.

If it has been a long time since you last saw a dentist, you probably should schedule a checkup soon. When you go in for bi-yearly dental checkups, your dentist can thoroughly examine your mouth to make sure nothing is wrong. This helps prevent dental caries from occurring, minimizing the chance of needing more invasive procedures in the future. If you need to schedule a checkup with a dentist in Pine Level, AL that accepts uninsured individuals we can help you find a great match.

When you go in for an exam, your dentist will begin with a professional cleaning. This will remove plaque and tartar that is tough to remove at home — even with great brushing and flossing habits. The dental cleaning will leave your mouth feeling fresh.

Once your cleaning is completed, your Pine Level dentist will begin his examination. During this portion of your consultation, the dentist will thoroughly look at your oral cavity to identify any potential issues. If they find anything amiss, they can provide treatment options. The Pine Level dental practice we set you up with will offer comprehensive services to address a variety of dental needs. If you attend regularly scheduled checkups they can keep track of the health of your mouth. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment with a dentist that works with uninsured individuals, we can help you find a great one.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
