Tooth-colored bonding repairs esthetic concerns effectively. The bonding material, a blend of glass-like and acrylic particles, is shaded and placed onto the prepared area. Athens dentists also use this material to address cracked or chipped teeth. During contouring, the dentist actually sands the outer tooth structure to correct issues with a tooth’s balance and shape.

This week we are honoring our Brooklyn cosmetic dentists. With both procedures, these dentists will be able to reshape malformed teeth, fixed broken or fractured teeth, mask unattractive teeth stains, and close embarrassing spaces between teeth.

Do you have a severely decayed tooth that requires attention? If so, the placement of a dental crown could help. The dental crown is custom-made for your dentition and can provide beauty, function, and health to your smile. Our team can help find you a Athens, AL dentist who can restore your smile, and also who will accept Delta Dental. Don’t risk an abscessed tooth!

One of the first signs of trouble could be a tooth sensitivity. This could be due to the presence of a cavity. As discomfort worsens, you could risk the spread of infection or even the loss of your tooth. An injury that breaks a tooth could also lead to complications like infection and tooth decay with time. In such cases, restorative treatment is usually necessary. If the problem is too severe for a tooth filling, then you may need to receive a dental crown.

The dental crown is a durable restoration. Once placed, this will cover everything above the gum line. They could be made from strong materials like gold. However, lots of dentists in the Athens, AL area offer more aesthetic options crafted from porcelain. The total placement process takes two individual dental appointments. The restoration, whether we use a metal or more lifelike options, will be custom-made for your smile. The custom nature of this dental prosthetic ensures a balanced occlusion, protecting your dentition from complications like temporomandibular joint disorders. If you have a tooth that needs repair then talk to Doctors Network. We can help you find the dental practices that fit your needs and accept Delta Dental.

It is imperative for kids to visit the dentist every six months for exams and cleanings. By teaching children how to take care of their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the skills to have healthy smiles for many years. If you are looking for a pediatric dental office in Athens who accepts Delta Dental, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering examinations and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your little one with sealants. Sealants are thin layers of film that go on top of their back teeth. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their adult molars and harmful bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of tooth decay by up to 80%. It is a simple service that is very effective at preventing cavities on adult teeth in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another effective tool that your dentists provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps strengthen your child’s enamel layer. While enamel is one of the most protective substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your kid’s teeth become more susceptible to dental caries. Fluoride treatment prevents this from happening. Using toothpaste that has fluoride can also help. To learn more, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with one of our dental practices in Athens.

Many individuals would be elated to have a whiter smile. When you walk down the aisles of any grocery store, you see countless products that tout their teeth whitening abilities. If you have purchased any of these, you know that they almost always provide unsatisfying results. However, professional teeth whitening can actually produce a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Athens, AL that accepts Delta Dental, we can help you find one that offers professional tooth whitening.

When you visit your Athens dental practice, they can provide you with either an in-office or even at-home option. If you choose the in-office treatment, you will have brighter teeth within about an hour. For this option, your dentist will apply a gel solution to your teeth that they will then activate with a special light, to remove stains.

If you would prefer to go with an at-home treatment, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill with a safe whitening solution. You will wear these for one or two hours each day for roughly two weeks. Once this treatment is complete, you will have a whiter smile. If you would like to schedule a consultation with a Athens dentist that takes Delta Dental, we can help you find a great one.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
