A common reason to look for a dentist is to address a toothache. While toothaches and sensitivity could occur for multiple reasons, including sinus concerns or changes in elevation, one that persists for more than a day could mean trouble. For instance, a lingering toothache could be caused by dental caries, the early stages of a dental abscess, or as a result of weakened enamel due to teeth grinding. When you have an aching tooth that does not subside, you probably need a tooth-filling. Doctors Network can help locate dental care in the Holtville, AL community who takes Delta Dental!

When the dental professional examines you, imaging technology is used to assess the severity of the cavity. then, a dental restoration is chosen. For children and adults alike, a dental filling made from a metal-free material could bring relief. A dental cap or crown could also be used to treat major cavities. If possible, the dentist will take steps to utilize more lifelike options, so they ensure an attractive smile. If you have an aching tooth, use our search module to connect with Holtville walk-in dentists and request an appointment.

Have you ever noticed popping or crackling sound in the jaw? Do you have frequent headaches or jaw pain? If so, this could be related to two common jaw joint issues. Around 25 million people in the United States suffer from chronic bruxism and TMJ dysfunction. Without treatment, these could not only cause pain, but actually wear down outer tooth structure! Fortunately, your friends at Doctors Network can help you find a dental professional in Holtville, AL who accepts Delta Dental.

While very different from one another, we often find these are related. TMJ disorder develops when the the temporomandibular joints become strained. This could cause problems with jaw function. Common symptoms include pain in the jaw, head, and neck. Bruxism means you clench or grind your teeth in your sleep. The pressure of clenching could cause headaches and jaw pain. Teeth grinding could also fracture or break your teeth. This damage could lead to decayed teeth, infection, and more. Both disorders could be caused by issues that upset bite balance, and untreated TMJ disorder could mean eventual teeth grinding, and vice-versa. When you have frequent discomfort in your head and neck, you should find help. We can even connect you with a dentist in Holtville who accepts Delta Dental.

There are, however, multiple treatment options available; for some, relief is possible following recontouring, which improves bite balance. For others, treating misalignment with Invisalign could ease strain and stop symptoms. The most common option offered by most dental professionals is an oral appliance, which fits like a night-guard. If you need to find treatment from a Holtville dentist. then contact our team!

Do you have a severely decayed tooth that requires attention? If so, the placement of a dental crown could help. The dental crown is uniquely designed for your dentition and can return beauty, function, and health to your smile. Our team can help find you a Holtville, AL dental professional who can restore your smile, and also who will accept Delta Dental. Do not risk an abscessed tooth!

One of the first signs of trouble could be an aching tooth. This could be due to the presence of a cavity. As discomfort worsens, you could risk an infected or abscessed tooth or even the loss of your tooth. A trauma that fractures a tooth could also lead to complications like infection and tooth decay with time. In these situations, restorative treatment could stop discomfort. If the problem is too severe for a filling, then you may need a full dental restoration.

The dental crown is a durable restoration. Once placed, this will cover the entire outer tooth structure. They could be made from durable, biocompatible materials like silver. However, lots of cosmetic dentists in the Holtville, AL area offer more natural options crafted from porcelain. The total placement process takes two individual appointments. The crown, whether we use a metal or more natural-looking options, will be personalized for your smile. The custom nature of this dental prosthetic ensures a balanced occlusion, protecting your teeth from the onset of bruxism. If you have teeth that need repair then talk to Doctors Network. We can help you find the dental practices that meet your needs and accept Delta Dental.

It is crucial for kids to visit the dentist every six months for dental visits and cleanings. By teaching children great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the skills to have healthy smiles for many years. If you are looking for a kids dentist in Holtville who accepts Delta Dental, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering biannual dental checkups and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your kids with dental sealants. These are thin pieces of film that go over their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their adult molars and harmful germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of dental caries by up to 80 percent. It is a simple procedure that is very effective at preventing cavities on adult teeth in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another great tool that your pediatric dentists provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps fortify your child’s enamel. While enamel is one of the most protective substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your little one’s teeth become more susceptible to dental caries. Fluoride treatment helps stop decay from occurring. Using toothpaste that has fluoride can also help. For more information, we invite you to schedule an appointment with one of our dental practices in Holtville.

Many individuals would be elated to have a whiter smile. When you walk down the aisles of any grocery store, you see myriad products that advertise their teeth whitening abilities. If you have tried any of these, you know that they almost always provide unsatisfying results. However, professional teeth whitening can actually provide a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Holtville, AL that works with Delta Dental, we can help you find one that offers professional teeth whitening.

When you visit your Holtville dental practice, they can provide you with either an in-office or even at-home treatment. Should you opt for treatment in the office, you will only have to stay for roughly an hour. For this option, your dentist will apply a gel solution to your teeth that they will then activate with a special light, to remove stains.

If you would prefer to go with whitening from the comfort of your home, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill with a safe whitening solution. You will put these on for one or two hours each day for about 2 weeks. Once this treatment is done, you will have a whiter and brighter smile. If you would like to request an appointment with a Holtville dentist that takes Delta Dental, we can help you find the best ones.

If it has been over six months since you last visited a dentist, you should schedule an appointment as soon as possible. Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
