You can’t put a price on an attractive smile, but as we age, most of us struggle with the loss of natural teeth. Missing teeth could lead to trouble with eating and speaking, and can even lead to an older appearance. To treat tooth loss, people often turn to implants and fixed dentures. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as bridges or removable dentures, these are connected to posts inserted into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like bridges are securely attached to these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but far much longer with proper care and attention.

Are you ready to address unsightly gaps with dental implants? If you are wondering how much a dental implant costs near you in Point Mackenzie, you are not alone, but first, you should find a Point Mackenzie dentist who can offer implant dentistry. Doctors Network can help you with this, connecting you to a dental professional who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also works with Delta Dental. Same-day appointments are usually available. You can even register for a Doctors Network membership plan to reduce the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will take a close look at your smile. Underlying factors may need to be considered before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer quality prosthetics that look and function like natural teeth!

Perhaps, the most common reason to search for a dentist is to address discomfort caused by cavities. While toothaches and sensitivity could occur for multiple reasons, including sinus concerns or changes in elevation, one that persists for more than a day could mean trouble. For instance, a lingering tooth pain could be caused by tooth decay, the early stages of a dental infection, or as a result of weakened enamel due to teeth grinding while asleep. When you have an aching tooth that does not subside, you most likely need a filling placed. Doctors Network can help connect you to a dentist in the Point Mackenzie, AK area who takes Delta Dental!

When the dentist examines your smile, imaging technology is used to assess the severity of the cavity. From there, the appropriate treatment option is chosen. For children and adults alike, a tooth-filling made from a composite resin could bring relief. A dental crown could also be used to treat more severe cases. If possible, the dentist will take steps to use more lifelike options, so they offer a natural appearance. If you have a toothache, use our search page to connect with Point Mackenzie dentists who take walk-ins and book an appointment online.

Grownups are not the only ones who benefit from routine dental treatment. Kids require routine preventive dentistry as well, and they need to be monitored by a dentist for issues like tooth decay. This could include dental malocclusion, or for teens, the arrival of wisdom teeth. If you need to schedule an appointment online with a family dentist in Point Mackenzie, AK with experience helping little smiles, then Doctors Network is ready to help you.

Checkups and cleanings should begin when all baby teeth come in, and should not be skipped. These visits enable your Point Mackenzie pediatric dentist to keep track of your child’s dental development, and if areas of concern develop, such as tooth decay, or gingivitis, then treatment might be required. In addition, kids can often receive fluoride treatments to strengthen the outer enamel of their teeth and prevent tooth decay. Dental sealants, which coat the hard-to-reach rear teeth, can strengthen vulnerable adult teeth. In fact, sealants can last as long as a decade in some cases.

If you are searching for Delta Dental dentists in Point Mackenzie who can treat your entire family, let us know. We want to help you find affordable dental care. With routine care kids not only can enjoy healthy and strong smiles, but they also learn the value of caring for their smiles. These visits can start them on the path to a lifetime of healthy gums and teeth. All of it starts with that initial dental exam. So, use our search tool to find the right dentist for you and your children!

We’ve reached the season when kids and adults alike will be enjoying sports and outdoor activities. While we hope everyone has a great time, we know that their teeth could be at risk. In some situations, especially with full contact sports, teeth could become compromised, and when trauma occurs, care is needed. Even minor damages could lead to an increased risk of tooth decay. Doctors Network can help you access a dentist that is open on weekends in Point Mackenzie, AK who can assess the situation.

The outside of each tooth provides protection against tooth decay. The enamel protects the sensitive inner structures from bacteria, and from oral health complications. But when a tooth is broken, it could increase the risk of tooth decay. You need treatment even if the damage appears minor. Likewise, you should let us know if you need a Point Mackenzie emergency dentist who accepts Delta Dental for less severe emergencies. Sudden toothaches and objects caught between the teeth could compromise your smile. Don’t forget that knocked out teeth are causes for concern as well. You also need care if a tooth filling or any kind of dental restoration is compromised!

Once you contact Doctors Network and begin looking for your Point Mackenzie, AK dentist, take steps to avoid complications by taking a store bought pain medication. Cloth or gauze can be helpful also. Using an ice pack can ease facial swelling too. If a tooth is damaged or knocked loose, recover the tooth or any pieces and bring them in a sealed container. They can be placed in a glass of cold milk or salt water.
