When a tooth becomes infected, treatment is required. Lack of treatment means the tooth could become necrotic. At this stage, the tooth might require extraction. Otherwise, the infection moves into the jaw. If posible, the ideal treatment for an infected tooth is root canal therapy. The procedure is effective, but sometimes a tooth becomes infected again and requires additional care. You may need to book an online appointment with one of our knowledgeable Santa Susana dentists or endodontists for a root canal retreatment.

Root canal treatment involves removing the tissues from the inside and root canals. The interiors and root canals are thoroughly cleaned, and a restorative material, AKA gutta percha, is then administered. In many cases, the tooth is then capped with a dental crown. The restoration is often custom-made to protect the tooth and also match the rest of the smile. But if there are complications with the procedure, the health of the tooth could be unpredictable. The tooth could begin developing symptoms, such as toothaches and pain when eating. If you experience discomfort, do not risk tooth loss. Doctors Network can connect you with an emergency dental services provider in Santa Susana, CA that can offer additional treatment and accepts Delta Dental.

If you don’t have dental coverage don’t let that discourage you! Doctors Network can offer a membership plan to make dental care budget-friendly. With a monthly membership fee, you can undergo necessary root canal retreatment without breaking the bank!

When a tooth is severely damaged, it could become infected. The presence of abscess means serious discomfort, and without intervention, it could lead to missing teeth. This is why your tooth may need restorative treatment. Fortunately, there are options available to bring relief. Our network can help connect you to a Santa Susana dental professional for root canal therapy. We can also help find an endodontist that accepts Delta Dental.

A dental infection means that harmful anaerobic bacteria have made contact with interior nerve tissues. The pulp is the nerve center of the tooth, and it ensures a functional tooth. Lack of intervention for an abscess could allow serious discomfort. A common warning sign of trouble could include sensitivity. Don’t ignore a potential symptom. Talk to our team about finding a Santa Susana dentist skilled in performing root canals who accepts Delta Dental and other forms of coverage.

A root canal procedure is a comfortable treatment that can be completed in one sitting. Essentially, after the dentist plans the treatment, the carious tooth structures are removed from within. The interior of the tooth is cleaned, and a special restorative material is added. The last step involves capping the tooth with a porcelain or metal crown. The crown is designed to protect the tooth and look natural. This procedure prevents tooth loss.

Daily brushing and flossing can help lower your risk of future cavities and dental infections. Routine six-month visits help as well. If you’re looking for treatment in Santa Susana for dental infection, talk to Doctors Network or request an online appointment. You have options, and we know how to find practices that accept Delta Dental.

It is crucial for children to visit a dental professional bi-yearly for exams and cleanings. By teaching your children how to take care of their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for many years. If you are looking for a dental office in Santa Susana who accepts Delta Dental, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering examinations and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your little one with protective sealants. These are small pieces of BPA-free acrylic that dentists paint onto their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a protective layer between their molars and harmful bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of decay by up to 80 percent. It is a simple tool that is very effective at preventing the need for fillings in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another proven tool that your dentists provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps strengthen your child’s teeth. While enamel is one of the strongest substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your kid’s teeth become more susceptible to decay. This procedure helps mitigate this damage. Using fluoride toothpaste can also help. To learn more, we invite you to schedule an appointment with one of our network dental professionals in Santa Susana.

Many individuals would prefer to have a whiter smile. When you stroll down the aisles of any pharmacy, you see countless products that tout their teeth whitening abilities. If you have purchased any of these, you know that they almost always provide disappointing results. However, professional teeth whitening can actually give you a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Santa Susana, CA that takes Delta Dental, we can help you find one that offers professional whitening.

When you visit your Santa Susana dental care provider, they can provide you with either an in-office or even at-home treatment option. With the in-office option, you will typically be out within about an hour, and you will have noticeably whiter teeth. When you visit the office for whitening, your dentist will apply a special bleaching gel that, when activated by a special light, will get rid of stains.

If you would prefer to choose whitening from the comfort of your home, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill with a safe peroxide or bleaching solution. You will wear these for a couple of hours each day for approximately two weeks. Once this treatment is over, you will have a more radiant smile. If you would like to book a visit with a Santa Susana dentist that accepts Delta Dental, we can help you find a great one.

If it has been over six months since you last saw a dentist, you probably should schedule a consultation soon. When you go in for bi-yearly dental checkups, your dentist can closely examine your teeth to make sure nothing is amiss. This helps prevent caries from occurring, minimizing the chance of needing more costly procedures at a later time. If you need to schedule a checkup with a dentist in Santa Susana, CA that accepts Delta Dental we can help you find a great match.

To begin your visit, a hygienist will clean your teeth thoroughly. This will remove plaque and tartar that is tough to remove at home — even with great brushing and flossing habits. The dental prophylaxis will leave your teeth feeling fresh and rejuvenated.

Once your cleaning is over, your Santa Susana dentist will begin her or his examination. During this portion of your consultation, the dentist will thoroughly look at your dentition to identify any potential issues. Should they notice something awry, they can suggest the proper treatment. The Santa Susana dental practice we set you up with will offer a myriad of services to address a variety of dental conditions. If you visit the dentist regularly they can keep track of the health of your smile. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment online with a dentist that works with Delta Dental, we can help you find a great one.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.
