Grownups are not the only ones who benefit from regular dental care. Children require routine checkups and cleanings as well, and they need to be monitored by a dental professional for issues like tooth decay. This could include dental misalignment, or for teens, wisdom tooth eruption. If you need to schedule an appointment online with a family dentist in Mooresville, AL with experience helping little smiles, then Doctors Network is ready to help you.

Routine examinations should begin when all baby teeth come in, and should be scheduled twice a year. These visits enable your Mooresville pediatric dentist to monitor smiles as they grow, and if areas of concern develop, such as dental cavities, or gingivitis, then intervention might be needed. In addition, kids can often receive a topical fluoride gel to strengthen the outer enamel of their teeth and prevent tooth cavities. Sealants, which coat the occlusal surfaces of the posterior teeth, can lower the risk of cavities too. In fact, this layer of acrylic can provide protection against tooth cavities for as long as a decade in some cases.

If you are searching for dentists in Mooresville who can treat your entire family, let us know. We want to help you find affordable dental care. With routine care kids not only enjoy healthy smiles, but they also understand the value of regular care. Good oral health habits can start them on the path to a lifetime of healthy gums and teeth. All of it starts with that initial dental exam. So, use our search tool to find the right dentist for you and your children!

It is important for children to visit a dental professional every six months for checkups and cleanings. By teaching children preventative measures to protect their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for ever. If you are looking for a kids dentist in Mooresville who accepts new patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering biannual dental checkups and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your little children with dental sealants. These are thin pieces of film that go over their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a shield between their molars and harmful bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of decay by up to 80 percent. It is a simple service that is very effective at preventing the need for fillings in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another effective tool that your pediatric dentists provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps strengthen your child’s teeth. While enamel is one of the strongest substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your child’s teeth become more susceptible to decay. This procedure helps mitigate this damage. Using toothpaste that has fluoride can also help. For more information, please schedule an appointment with one of our pediatric dentists in Mooresville.

Many individuals would prefer to have a whiter smile. When you stroll down the aisles of any drug store, you see numerous products that tout their teeth whitening abilities. If you have used any of these, you know that they almost always provide disappointing results. However, professional tooth bleaching can actually provide a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Mooresville, AL that takes patients without dental insurance, we can help you find one that offers professional whitening.

When you visit your Mooresville dental practice, they can provide you with either an in-office or even at-home treatment. Should you opt for treatment in the office, you will only have to stay for roughly an hour. When you come in, your dentist will apply a bleaching gel to your front teeth that is then activated with a specialized light that removes discoloration.

If you would prefer to choose whitening at home, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can use along with a safe bleaching or peroxide solution. You will wear these for a couple of hours each day for roughly 2 weeks. Once this treatment is done, you will have a brighter smile. If you would like to request a consultation online with a Mooresville dentist that takes patients without dental insurance, we can help you find a fantastic one.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
