The staff at Dr. Petersen is the best. I never have to wait when I come in, and the procedures are always thorough but fast. They’re a pretty busy place, but they keep things moving, which is nice. I’ve been a patient here since they opened, and I’ve always had an enjoyable experience. I’ve recommended them to all my friends, they’re the best dental office in Leawood, Kansas. A lot of my friends love this place too. The entire staff is kind and really cares about their patients. I’ve had cleanings, new caps, new white fillings, and root canals done here, and everything has always looked great. Thank you, Dr. Petersen.

dental-implants-or-bridge

As children, we lose our deciduous teeth over time. However, in adulthood, losing teeth is caused by oral health issues. Periodontal disease leads to major tooth loss. Since missing teeth at this age isn’t natural, this means problems. You could have problems with nutritional intake. Problems speaking are a common consequence. Finally, you could risk negative changes to your smile, or even your facial structure. You need a professional and friendly private dentist in Bates City, MO who can correct your tooth loss. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help find a local dentist.

First, we will connect you to an awesome dentist in your area. Then, your new dentist can examine your smile to diagnose the conditions for your missing teeth. For minor cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, addressing one to three missing teeth in a row. For multiple gaps, partials could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete set of dentures could be crafted and secured. While most complete dentures and partials are removable, they could be secured with titanium implants. Dental implants act as natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your maxilla and mandible and facial structure following missing a tooth.

If you live in the Bates City‘s proximity and have lost your natural teeth, let us know. We can get you started on receiving a dental prosthetic. The smile of your dreams is possible, even if you’ve suffered complete tooth loss, and even if many years have elapsed since that happened!

P. S. Please celebrate our dentists in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you suffer from chronic snoring, you may not realize it, but a dentist could help. But in fact, dentists can provide a noninvasive and comfortable option to help you breathe without interruption. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) means that as you sleep, the soft palate and the back of your mouth collapse and interrupt your sleep cycle. People literally stop breathing briefly until the brain alerts the body to resume breathing. Even as you think you slept well, you could experience daytime drowsiness! But when is it time to contact Doctors Network and find Bates City, MO dentists who offer OSA treatment?

Symptoms of sleep apnea could include chronic snoring. Daytime headaches, drowsiness, and irritability could be factors too. Without intervention, sleep apnea could even impact your immune system and your cardiovascular health. When you notice similar symptoms, consider finding out your treatment options. Sometimes, oral appliance therapy can be helpful as a CPAP alternative, so you can finally rest without sleep apnea symptoms.

This week we are celebrating our dental practices in Manhattan.

tooth-bonding

If you have a chipped tooth or a tooth that is misshapen or stained, then you need a cosmetic treatment. With contouring and tooth-color fillings in Bates City, MO, these cosmetic imperfections can be treated in one visit. At Doctors Network, we aim to help connect you with a general dentist in Bates City, MO who takes new patients and can tackle your oral health concerns. You may be surprised to discover just how much these two treatments can correct in a single sitting.

Composite filling repairs aesthetic concerns using a metal-free material. The bonding material, a blend of glass and acrylic particles, is shaded and placed in the tooth preparation. Bates City dentists also use the same material for fillings. With dental contouring, the dentist actually sands the outer tooth structure to correct the appearances of cosmetic concerns.

Today we are honoring our Brooklyn adult dentists. Using these two services, these dentists will be able to reshape malformed teeth, fixed broken or fractured teeth, mask stains on teeth, and close embarrassing spaces between the teeth.

Nothing feels better than an attractive smile, but as we get older, many of us struggle with the loss of natural teeth. Missing teeth could lead to difficulty with eating and speaking, and can even lead to bone loss in the jaw. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to dental implants. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as dentures or bridges, these are connected to posts that act as new roots. Crowns or even prosthetics like dentures are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but several decades with proper care.

Are you ready to tackle your tooth loss with dental implants? If you want to know how much dental implants cost near you in Bates City, you are not alone, but firstly, you should find a Bates City dentist who can offer prosthetic dentistry. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dental professional who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also takes patients without dental insurance. Same-day appointments are usually available. You can even register for a Doctors Network membership plan to reduce the cost of your treatment.

The dentist will take a close look at your smile. Underlying issues like gum disease may need to be treated before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer new teeth that look and function like natural dentition!

Missouri is the birthplace of America’s 33rd president, Harry Truman, and home to the nation’s largest beer brewery, Anheuser-Busch. Yet, it is perhaps more well-known for the St. Louis World’s Fair of 1904, which reportedly introduced most of the American foods we know and love today, including hot dogs, ice cream cones, Dr. Pepper, and much more. Today, the Show Me State is home to nearly 6.1 million residents, all of whom deserve to enjoy the benefits of exceptional dental care without having to pay exorbitant out-of-pocket costs. To help them all receive that care, Doctors Network has partnered with dentists across the state to offer patients direct dental plans directly through their dentists’ offices.

Missouri is one of the nation’s friendliest places to raise a family, and boasts a relatively low cost of living coupled with a strong economy. However, dental health care costs can be a burden to families of all backgrounds and demographics, even when they have dental insurance coverage. With a direct dental plan, you only pay a small monthly fee, which your dentist will determine, to gain access to substantial savings on your dental health care. For instance, checkup and cleaning appointments only cost $25 per visit under the plan, and treatments such as teeth-whitening, dental fillings, crowns, Invisalign®, dental implants, and more will be significantly discounted—often by up to 90%!

To learn more, or to sign up, speak with your dentist about joining Doctors Network the next time you visit.
