The staff at Dr. Petersen is the best. I never have to wait when I come in, and the procedures are always thorough but fast. They’re a pretty busy place, but they keep things moving, which is nice. I’ve been a patient here since they opened, and I’ve always had an enjoyable experience. I’ve recommended them to all my friends, they’re the best dental office in Leawood, Kansas. A lot of my friends love this place too. The entire staff is kind and really cares about their patients. I’ve had cleanings, new caps, new white fillings, and root canals done here, and everything has always looked great. Thank you, Dr. Petersen.

dental-implants-or-bridge

As children, we lose our primary teeth as our smile develops. However, as adults, losing teeth is caused by oral health issues. Periodontal disease leads to major tooth loss. Since losing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means problems. You could have difficulties consuming solid foods. Problems talking could occur. Finally, you could risk negative changes to your smile alignment, or even your facial structure. You need a new private dentist in Camden, MO who can correct your tooth loss. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help you on the road to a full smile.

First, we will help connect you to a dedicated dentist in your area. Once we do, your new dentist can inspect your smile to understand the factors behind your tooth loss. For mild cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, restoring smile function. For multiple missing teeth, partial dentures could offer a solution and rebuild your smile. Finally, a complete denture could be custom-made. While most complete dentures and partial dentures are removable, they could be stablized with dental implants. Dental implants essentially look and function like natural teeth, and preserve bone density in your jaw and facial structure following losing a tooth.

If you live in the Camden‘s neighborhoods and need a solution for tooth loss, let us help. We can get you started on receiving bridges or dentures. The smile of your dreams is possible, even if you’ve suffered complete tooth loss, and even if many years have elapsed since that happened!

P. S. Please celebrate our dentists in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you suffer from a sleep disorder, you may not think a dentist near you could help. But in fact, dentists can provide a noninvasive and comfortable solution to help you breathe better while sleeping. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a condition in which when you sleep, the soft palate and the back of your mouth collapse and cut off airflow. People actually stop breathing briefly until the brain notices a drop in oxygen. Even if you believe you slept well, you could feel tired! But when should you contact Doctors Network and find Camden, MO dentists who could offer treatment with oral appliance therapy?

Symptoms of OSA include snoring on a nightly basis. Daytime headaches, and irritability could occur too. With no treatment, OSA could strain your immune system and increase the risk of high blood pressure. When you suffer similar symptoms, consider seeing a dental professional. Sometimes, oral appliance therapy can be helpful to keep airways free of obstruction, so you can finally rest without sleep apnea symptoms.

This week we are celebrating our dentists in New York.

tooth-bonding

If you have a chipped tooth or a tooth that is misshapen or stained, then you might need a cosmetic treatment. With enameloplasty and tooth-color fillings in Camden, MO, these and other aesthetic imperfections can be treated in one visit. At Doctors Network, we are here to help connect you with a dental professional in Camden, MO who takes new patients and offers cosmetic dentistry. You may be surprised to discover just how much cosmetic dentistry can correct in one sitting.

Tooth-colored restoration repairs cosmetic concerns using a metal-free material. The material, a mix of glass and acrylic particles, is shaded and placed in several layers. Camden cosmetic dentists also use the same material to repair dental caries. With tooth contouring, the dentist buffs and sands the outer tooth surfaces to correct your damaged or malformed tooth.

Today we are honoring our Brooklyn dental professionals. Between these two procedures, these dentists will be able to reshape malformed teeth, tackle dental emergencies, mask unattractive teeth stains, and close gaps between the teeth.

In childhood, many of us grind our teeth for short periods of time. The issue tends to last only a few months. But for some, bruxism could mean grinding and clenching continue into and throughout adulthood, and the pressure from clenching and grinding your teeth could lead to major complications. Chipped teeth and cracks could leave your smile vulnerable. You are also more likely to develop cavities or even dental infection, which is why if you have bruxism, you should consider using Doctors Network’s search tool to book an appointment with a dentist in Camden.

Your significant other may let you know that you have bruxism when you sleep. Otherwise, symptoms could include toothaches and tooth sensitivity. Treatment options vary. Some dentists bring relief by addressing the causes of teeth grinding. They could correct misalignment with orthodontics, or even replace missing teeth with prosthetics. Many offer treatment with custom and comfortable occlusal splints. So don’t ignore these symptoms, talk to us about finding the right dentist in your area who accepts private patients.

Nothing feels better than showing off a perfect smile, but as we get older, most of us struggle with the loss of natural teeth. Missing teeth could lead to difficulty with eating and speaking, and can even lead to bone loss in the jaw. To treat tooth loss, people often turn to implant-supported prosthetics. Unlike traditional options, such as dentures or fixed partial dentures, these are connected to posts placed into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like bridges are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but several decades with proper care and attention.

Are you ready to tackle your tooth loss with dental implants? If you are wondering how much a dental implant costs near Camden, you are not alone, but first, you need to find a Camden dentist who can offer tooth replacement. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dentist who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also accepts patients without dental insurance. Same-day appointments are usually available. You can even register for a Doctors Network membership plan to reduce the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will assess the state of your smile. Underlying issues such as periodontitis may need to be addressed before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer replacement teeth that look and function like natural ones!

Missouri is the birthplace of America’s 33rd president, Harry Truman, and home to the nation’s largest beer brewery, Anheuser-Busch. Yet, it is perhaps more well-known for the St. Louis World’s Fair of 1904, which reportedly introduced most of the American foods we know and love today, including hot dogs, ice cream cones, Dr. Pepper, and much more. Today, the Show Me State is home to nearly 6.1 million residents, all of whom deserve to enjoy the benefits of exceptional dental care without having to pay exorbitant out-of-pocket costs. To help them all receive that care, Doctors Network has partnered with dentists across the state to offer patients direct dental plans directly through their dentists’ offices.

With a direct dental plan, you only pay a small monthly fee, which your dentist will determine, to gain access to substantial savings on your dental health care. For instance, checkup and cleaning appointments only cost $25 per visit under the plan, and treatments such as teeth-whitening, dental fillings, crowns, Invisalign®, dental implants, and more will be significantly discounted—often by up to 90%!
