dental-implants-or-bridge

As children, we lose our baby teeth as a natural part of growing up. However, as adults, losing teeth is caused by oral health issues. The advanced stage of gum disease leads to major tooth loss. Since missing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means issues with smile stability. You could have difficulties eating. Problems talking could occur. Finally, you could risk impacting your smile, or even your facial structure. You need an amazing in-network dentist in Emma, MO who can replace missing teeth. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help find a local dentist.

First, we will connect you to a friendly dentist near you. Once we do, your new dentist can examine your smile to assess your missing teeth. For less severe cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, restoring smile function. For multiple missing teeth, partials could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete denture could be custom-made. While most fulls and partials are removable, they could be supported with multiple dental implants. Dental implants essentially look and function like natural teeth, and stimulate bone preservation in your alveolar bone and facial structure following losing a tooth.

If you live in the Emma area and have lost your natural teeth, let us know. We can get you started on receiving a dental prosthetic. Model-worthy teeth are within reach, even if you’ve lost all of your teeth, and even if many years have elapsed since that happened!

P. S. Please congratulate our dentists in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you suffer from a poor sleeping pattern, you may not assume a dentist near you could help. But in fact, dentists can provide a noninvasive and comfortable option to stop nighttime airway obstruction. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) means that when you sleep, the soft tissues in the throat and the tissues around the throat collapse and cut off airflow. Patients with OSA literally stop breathing briefly until the brain wakes them. Even if you think you slept well, you could experience daytime drowsiness! But when is it necessary to talk to Doctors Network to find Emma, MO dentists who offer OSA treatment?

Signs and symptoms of sleep apnea could include loud and frequent snoring. Daytime headaches, and trouble with interpersonal relationships could occur too. Without intervention, OSA could even impact your immune system and increase the risk of high blood pressure. When you experience similar signs and symptoms, consider seeing a dental professional. Often, oral appliance therapy can be used as a CPAP alternative, so you can finally rest without sleep apnea symptoms.

This week we are celebrating our dental professionals in Manhattan.

If you have a chipped tooth or one that is yellow stained, then you could benefit from cosmetic dentistry. With tooth reshaping and tooth-color fillings in Emma, MO, these aesthetic imperfections can be can be addressed with lifelike results. At Doctors Network, we can help connect you with a dentist in Emma, MO who accepts new patients and offers cosmetic dentistry. You may not believe just how much these two treatments can do in only one appointment.

Tooth-colored filling repairs esthetic concerns with composite resin materials. The material, a blend of glass-like and acrylic particles, is shaded and applied to the teeth. Emma general dentists also use the same material to address cracked or chipped teeth. With dental contouring, the dentist actually sands the outer tooth surfaces to correct your damaged or malformed tooth.

This week we are honoring our Brooklyn cosmetic dentists. With both treatments, these dentists can reshape malformed teeth, tackle dental emergencies, mask teeth stains, and close embarrassing gaps between the teeth.

Periodontal disease is a common oral health issue. In fact, studies from the CDC reveal that about 50% of adults over the age of thirty require treatment for periodontal concerns. Without treatment, gum disease could reach an advanced stage. Also known as periodontitis, this is actually one of the most common causes of adult tooth loss. All that to say, when you develop discomfort in the gums, you need to see a professional as soon as you can. Sore, red gums that bleed easily, along with receding tissues, are common indicators that you need to see a Emma walk in dentist.

If there is any sign of gingivitis or gum disease, then a treatment plan can be created. Your significant other may let you know you grind your teeth in your sleep. Otherwise, symptoms could include toothaches and tooth sensitivity. Treatment options vary. Some dentists bring relief by addressing the underlying factors. They could correct misalignment with clear aligners, or even replace missing teeth with prosthetics. Many offer treatment with custom and comfortable oral splints. So don’t ignore the indicators of bruxism, talk to us about finding the right dentist in your area who accepts new patients.

Nothing feels better than a full smile, but as we get older, most of us struggle with the loss of natural teeth. Missing teeth could lead to difficulty with eating and speaking, and can even lead to bone loss in the jaw. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to implant-supported prosthetics. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as bridges or removable dentures, these are connected to posts inserted into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like bridges are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but far much longer with proper care.

Are you ready to tackle your tooth loss with dental implants? If you want to know how much a dental implant costs near you in Emma, you are not alone, but firstly, you should find a Emma dentist who can offer surgical placement of dental implants. Doctors Network can help you with this, connecting you to a dental professional who not only can address your tooth loss, but also accepts patients without dental insurance. You can even register for a Doctors Network membership plan to reduce the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will take a close look at your smile. Underlying issues like gum disease may need to be addressed before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer replacement teeth that look and function like natural dentition!

Missouri is the birthplace of America’s 33rd president, Harry Truman, and home to the nation’s largest beer brewery, Anheuser-Busch. Yet, it is perhaps more well-known for the St. Louis World’s Fair of 1904, which reportedly introduced most of the American foods we know and love today, including hot dogs, ice cream cones, Dr. Pepper, and much more. Today, the Show Me State is home to nearly 6.1 million residents, all of whom deserve to enjoy the benefits of exceptional dental care without having to pay exorbitant out-of-pocket costs. To help them all receive that care, Doctors Network has partnered with dentists across the state to offer patients direct dental plans directly through their dentists’ offices.
