He has also earned his IV and Oral moderal sedation licenses through the Arkansas board of dentistry.

Dr. Hankins earned his degree in Biology from the University of Arkansas, then went on to earn his doctoral degree in dental surgery at the University of Tennessee. He then became a practicing dentist in 2013, but chose to continue his education by taking part in mentorship training programs in Pediatrics and Advanced Surgery. In 2016, he completed a residency program at the Children's Hospital in Dallas, then worked at the Smile Center. dental-implants-or-bridge

As kids, we lose our primary teeth as a natural part of growing up. However, in adulthood, losing teeth is often due to injury. Periodontitis is the number one cause. Since missing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means problems. You could have difficulties eating. Problems talking are a common consequence. Finally, you could risk damages to your smile, or even your facial structure. You need an awesome in-network dentist in Exeter, MO who can provide prosthetic dentistry. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help locate one.

First, we will help connect you to a skilled dentist in your location who accepts your insurance. Once we do, your new dentist can examine your smile to assess your missing teeth. For less severe cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, addressing one to three missing teeth in a row. For multiple gaps, partial dentures could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete set of dentures could be custom-made. While most complete dentures and partial dentures are removable, they could be supported with titanium implants. Dental implants are secured like natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your alveolar bone and facial structure following tooth loss.

If you live in the Exeter‘s neighborhoods and have unsightly gaps in your smile, let us know. We can get you started on receiving the tooth replacement you need. A full smile is possible, even if you’ve suffered complete tooth loss, and even if years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please applaud our dentists in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you experience a sleep disorder, you may not assume a dentist could help. In fact, dentists can often provide a comfortable option to help you breathe better while sleeping. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) means that when you sleep, the soft tissues in the throat and the tissues around the throat collapse and interrupt your sleep cycle. Patients literally stop breathing briefly until the brain alerts the body to resume breathing. Even as you assume you slept well, you’re actually sleep deprived! But when is it necessary to use the search tool on Doctors Network to find Exeter, MO dentists who offer OSA treatment?

Signs and symptoms of sleep apnea could include loud and frequent snoring. Daytime headaches, drowsiness, and irritability could be factors too. With no treatment, sleep apnea could even impact your immune system and heart health. When you experience similar signs and symptoms, consider talking to a dentist. Sometimes, oral appliance therapy can be helpful to keep airways open, so you can finally sleep comfortably.

This week we are honoring our dental professionals in Manhattan.

tooth-bonding

If you have a broken tooth or one that is misshapen or stained, then you could benefit from dental treatment. With enameloplasty and tooth-color bonding in Exeter, MO, these aesthetic imperfections can be treated in one visit. At Doctors Network, we can help connect you with a dentist in Exeter, MO who accepts new patients and can tackle your oral health concerns. You may not be aware just how much cosmetic dentistry can correct in a single visit.

Tooth bonding repairs esthetic concerns effectively. The material, a blend of glass-like and acrylic particles, is shaded and applied to the teeth. Exeter general dentists also use the same material to repair dental caries. With contouring, the dentist simply sands and buffs the outer tooth structure to correct your damaged or malformed tooth.

Today we are celebrating our Brooklyn general dentists. Utilizing both services, these dentists will be able to reshape malformed teeth, repair dental damage, mask unattractive teeth stains, and even close embarrassing gaps between the teeth.

When we are kids, many of us grind our teeth for short periods of time. The issue tends to pass on its own. But for some, bruxism could mean the issue persists into and throughout adolescence, and the pressure from clenching and grinding your teeth could injure your teeth. Chipped teeth and cracks could cause discomfort. You’re also more likely to develop cavities or even infected teeth, which is why if you have bruxism, you should consider using Doctors Network’s search tool to find a dental practice in Exeter.

Your partner or spouse may let you know about your disorder. Otherwise, symptoms could include toothaches and tooth sensitivity. Treatment options vary. Some dentists bring relief by addressing the oral health issues behind your bruxism. They could correct misalignment with braces, or even replace missing teeth with dental implants. Many offer treatment with custom and comfortable oral appliances. So don’t ignore the indicators of bruxism, talk to us about finding the right dentist in your area who accepts patients without dental insurance.

There is no substitute for showing off a perfect smile, but as we get older, many of us struggle with tooth loss. Missing teeth could lead to trouble with eating and speaking, and can even lead to a prematurely aged appearance. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to implants and fixed dentures. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as bridges or removable dentures, these are connected to posts inserted into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like bridges are securely attached to these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but possibly a lifetime with proper care.

Are you ready to tackle your tooth loss with dental implants? If you are wondering how much dental implants cost in Exeter, you are not alone, but first, you need to find a Exeter dentist who can offer implant dentistry. Doctors Network can help you with this, connecting you to a dental professional who not only can address your tooth loss, but also accepts walk-in patients. Same-day appointments are usually available. You can even register for a Doctors Network membership plan to reduce the cost of your treatment.

The dentist will carefully examine your smile. Underlying issues such as periodontitis may need to be treated before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer replacement teeth that look and function like natural dentition!

Missouri is the birthplace of America’s 33rd president, Harry Truman, and home to the nation’s largest beer brewery, Anheuser-Busch. Yet, it is perhaps more well-known for the St. Louis World’s Fair of 1904, which reportedly introduced most of the American foods we know and love today, including hot dogs, ice cream cones, Dr. Pepper, and much more. Today, the Show Me State is home to nearly 6.1 million residents, all of whom deserve to enjoy the benefits of exceptional dental care without having to pay exorbitant out-of-pocket costs. To help them all receive that care, Doctors Network has partnered with dentists across the state to offer patients direct dental plans directly through their dentists’ offices.

Missouri is one of the nation’s friendliest places to raise a family, and boasts a relatively low cost of living coupled with a strong economy. However, dental health care costs can be a burden to families of all backgrounds and demographics, even when they have dental insurance coverage. The goal of Doctors Network is to help dentists across Missouri offer high-quality care directly to their patients, without the exorbitant extra costs that third-party insurance companies often tack on to their plans. With a direct dental plan, you only pay a small monthly fee, which your dentist will determine, to gain access to substantial savings on your dental health care. For instance, checkup and cleaning appointments only cost $25 per visit under the plan, and treatments such as teeth-whitening, dental fillings, crowns, Invisalign®, dental implants, and more will be significantly discounted—often by up to 90%!

If you don’t have insurance, then Doctors Network can make managing your family’s dental health care needs more affordable than ever before. To learn more, or to sign up, speak with your dentist about joining Doctors Network the next time you visit. I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.
