dental-implants-or-bridge

As kids, we lose our baby teeth over time. However, as adults, losing teeth is often due to injury. Periodontal disease is the number one cause. Since missing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means problems. You could have difficulties with nutritional intake. Problems speaking could occur. Finally, you could risk impacting your smile alignment, or even your facial structure. You need a skilled private dentist in Gordonville, AL who can correct your tooth loss. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help find a local dentist.

First, we will help connect you to a friendly dentist near you. After that, your new dentist can evaluate your smile to diagnose the conditions for your missing teeth. For minor cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, addressing one to three missing teeth in a row. For multiple missing teeth, partial dentures could offer a solution and rebuild your smile. Finally, a complete denture or CD could be custom-made. While most fulls and partial dentures are removable, they could be stablized with tooth implants. Dental implants act as natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your maxilla and mandible and facial structure following losing a tooth.

If you live in the Gordonville area and need a solution for tooth loss, let us know. We can get you started on receiving a dental prosthetic. Model-worthy teeth are within reach, even if you’ve suffered complete tooth loss, and even if years have elapsed since that happened!

P. S. Please applaud our dental surgeons in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you experience a poor sleeping pattern, you may not realize it, but a dentist near you could help. In fact, dentists can provide a non-invasive option to stop nighttime airway obstruction. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) means that when you sleep, the soft tissues in the throat and the back of your mouth collapse and cut off airflow. Patients with OSA actually stop breathing briefly until the brain notices a drop in oxygen. Even if you think you slept well, you’re actually sleep deprived! But when is it time to talk to Doctors Network to find Gordonville, AL dentists who provide treatment options?

Warning signs could include chronic snoring. Daytime headaches, drowsiness, and moodiness could occur too. With no treatment, the condition could even strain your immune system and increase the risk of high blood pressure. When you suffer similar signs, consider finding out your treatment options. Often, oral appliance therapy can be used to keep air passages clear while you sleep, so you can finally sleep well.

This week we are honoring our dental professionals in New York, NY.

tooth-bonding

If you have a broken tooth or a tooth that is stained, then you could benefit from a cosmetic consultation. With tooth reshaping and tooth-color bonding in Gordonville, AL, these aesthetic imperfections can be treated in one visit. At Doctors Network, we are here to help connect you with a adult dentist in Gordonville, AL who takes new patients and offers cosmetic dentistry. You may not believe just how much these two treatments can correct in one sitting.

Dental bonding repairs aesthetic concerns with composite resin materials. The composite resin, a mixture of glass-like and acrylic particles, is shaded and applied to the teeth. Gordonville dentists also use the same material to treat tooth decay. With tooth contouring, the dentist simply buffs and polishes the outer tooth enamel or restoration to correct your damaged or malformed tooth.

This week we are honoring our Brooklyn dental professionals. Using these two treatments, these dentists can reshape malformed teeth, tackle dental emergencies, mask teeth stains, and even close embarrassing gaps between the teeth.

Periodontitis is a common oral health issue. In fact, studies from the CDC reveal that half of adults over the age of thirty have gum disease. Without treatment, gum disease could reach an advanced stage. Also known as periodontitis, this is actually one of the most common causes of edentulism. All that to say, when you develop the symptoms of the disease, you need to see a professional as soon as you can. Sore, red gums that bleed easily, along with receding tissues, are common indicators that you need to see a Gordonville dentist that accepts new patients.

Doctors Network can facilitate finding dentists in Gordonville AL that accept new patients and can offer a treatment plan after examining your smile. If there is any sign of inflammation, then a treatment plan can be created. For less severe cases, a deep cleaning followed by traditional cleanings every three or four months could prevent symptoms. For severe periodontitis stages, there are options like gum grafts, laser dentistry, and more to protect your smile!

When we are kids, many of us clench our teeth for short periods of time. The issue tends to be temporary. But for some, bruxism could mean the issue persists into and throughout adolescence, and the pressure from clenching your teeth could injure your teeth. Cracks, chips, and worn-down structures could change your appearance. You’re also more likely to develop cavities or even dental abscesses, which is why if you grind your teeth, you should consider using Doctors Network’s search tool to book an appointment with a dentist in Gordonville.

Your partner or spouse may let you know you grind your teeth in your sleep. Otherwise, symptoms could include toothaches and tooth sensitivity. Treatment options vary. Some dentists bring relief by addressing the causes of teeth grinding. They could correct misalignment with orthodontics, or even replace missing teeth with prosthetics. Many offer treatment with custom and comfortable oral appliances. So don’t ignore the possible warning signs, talk to us about finding the right dentist in your area who accepts new patients.

There is no substitute for a full smile, but as we get older, most of us struggle with tooth loss. Missing teeth could lead to difficulty with eating and speaking, and can even lead to a prematurely aged appearance. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to dental implants. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as dentures or fixed partial dentures, these are connected to posts that act as new roots. Crowns or even prosthetics like dentures are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but far much longer with proper care and attention.

Are you ready to tackle your tooth loss with dental implants? If you are wondering how much a dental implant costs near you in Gordonville, you are not alone, but first, you need to find a Gordonville dentist who can offer tooth replacement. Doctors Network can help you with this, connecting you to a dental office who not only can address your tooth loss, but also takes patients without dental insurance. Same-day appointments are usually available. You can even register for a Doctors Network membership plan to reduce the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will carefully examine your smile. Underlying issues such as periodontitis may need to be considered before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer replacement teeth that look and function like natural ones!

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
