dental-implants-or-bridge

As kids, we lose our deciduous teeth as a natural part of growing up. However, as adults, losing teeth means poor oral health. Periodontal disease is the number one cause. Since missing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means oral health complications. You could have difficulties with nutritional intake. Problems speaking clearly may develop. Finally, you could risk damages to your smile, or even your facial structure. You need an excellent private dentist in Lowndesboro, AL who can replace missing teeth. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help locate one.

First, we will help connect you to a dentist in your area. Once we do, your new dentist can inspect your smile to assess your missing teeth. For less severe cases, a dental bridge could be placed, restoring smile function. For multiple missing teeth, partial dentures could offer a solution and address complicated tooth loss. Finally, a complete denture or CD could be prescribed. While most fulls and partial dentures are removable, they could be stablized with multiple dental implants. Dental implants essentially look and function like natural teeth, and stimulate bone preservation in your jaw and facial structure following tooth loss.

If you live in the Lowndesboro‘s neighborhoods and have unsightly gaps in your smile, let us know. We can get you started on receiving a dental prosthetic. A full smile is possible, even if you’ve suffered complete tooth loss, and even if many years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please celebrate our dental professionals in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you experience chronic snoring, you may not assume a dentist near you could help. But in fact, dentists can provide a comfortable option to stop nighttime airway obstruction. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) means that when you sleep, the soft tissues in the throat and the back of your mouth collapse and cause you to stop breathing. Patients literally stop breathing briefly until the brain wakes them. Even if you assume you slept well, you could feel tired! But when should you contact Doctors Network and find Lowndesboro, AL dentists who could offer treatment with oral appliance therapy?

Sings of OSA could include loud and frequent snoring. Daytime drowsiness, and moodiness could occur too. With no intervention, the condition could strain your immune system and increase the risk of high blood pressure. When you suffer similar signs and symptoms, consider seeing a dental professional. Sometimes, oral appliance therapy can be helpful to keep airways open, so you can finally sleep well.

This week we are honoring our dental professionals in Manhattan, NY.

tooth-bonding

If you have a broken tooth or one that is yellow stained, then you need cosmetic dentistry. With contouring and tooth-color bonding in Lowndesboro, AL, these aesthetic imperfections can be corrected in only one sitting. At Doctors Network, we can help connect you with a dental care professional in Lowndesboro, AL who takes new patients and provides the comprehensive treatments you need. You may not be aware just how much bonding and contouring can correct in only one appointment.

Dental restoration repairs cosmetic concerns using a metal-free material. The material, a mix of glass and acrylic particles, is shaded and placed in the tooth preparation. Lowndesboro general dentists also use this material to treat tooth decay. With dental contouring, the dentist actually buffs and polishes the outer tooth enamel or restoration to correct issues with a tooth’s balance and shape.

This week we are honoring our Brooklyn general dentists. With these two procedures, these dentists will be able to reshape malformed teeth, repair dental damage, mask unattractive teeth stains, and even close embarrassing gaps between the teeth.

There is no substitute for an attractive smile, but as we get older, most of us struggle with missing teeth. Missing teeth could lead to difficulty with eating and speaking, and can even lead to a prematurely aged appearance. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to implants and fixed dentures. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as bridges or removable dentures, these are connected to posts that act as new roots. Crowns or even prosthetics like dentures are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but possibly a lifetime with proper care.

Are you ready to tackle your tooth loss with dental implants? If you want to know how much a dental implant costs in Lowndesboro, you are not alone, but first, you need to find a Lowndesboro dentist who can offer tooth replacement. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dentist who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also works with patients without dental insurance. You can even sign up for a Doctors Network membership plan to reduce the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will take a close look at your smile. Underlying issues like gum disease may need to be considered before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer quality prosthetics that look and function like natural ones!

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
