She then went to the University of Connecticut School of Dental medicine where she earned her graduate degree in 1998. In 1999, she completed a residency training program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the same school. In 2002, Dr. Drozdowski Maule joined the Community Health Center and served as the agency's Chief Dental Officer between the years 2005 and 2014. During this time, she oversaw many technological advances and agency expansions, as well as the operations of the dental department. She was named one of the "40 under 40" outstanding graduates of the University of Connecticut in 2008. By 2011, she graduated from the Johnson School at Cornell University with an MBA degree.

Dr. Drozdowski Maule opened Family Dentistry of Central Connecticut in New Britain, CT in 2019 and realized that her passion in life is patient care. To ensure that her patients receive high-quality dentistry, she frequently attends continuing education courses and has completed over 70 hours of dental sleep medicine seminars. She has also finished the American Dental Association's Evidence-Based Dentistry training. From 2008 to 2014, she served on the board of directors for the National Oral Health Access Network.

When she is not working at her private practice or building up her own knowledge of dentistry, she is presenting on numerous topics such as electronic health record implementation, mobile dental programs, financial and operational topics, and meaningful use requirements across the country. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. I saw a Dr. Kaufman today, the Saturday before New Year's Eve, without an appointment because I lost a crown last night. Granted, the crown was over 35 years old and had been done by another dentist, but I still needed it fixed. I expected to have a long wait, but the X-ray process was very efficient. Less than 10 minutes later, I was prepped to see Dr. Kaufman, who numbed me for the procedure. An hour later, I had a new temporary in place and a permanent crown had been ordered. I love the high quality technology they have at this practice. Instead of making an impression of my teeth in clay-filled tray of yore, they used 3D digital imaging to map out my teeth and photograph them for color matching. Same result without all the radiation! Dr. Kaufman was so expeditious and accommodating. Thank you so much!

I came in first for an exam and then came back later for a crown at Reginald Borgella DDS. Dr. Borgella was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and caring. Procedures were well explained in detail and questions promptly answered. Never seemed like there was a hurry or when asking questions. I'm very happy to have found a good dentist in the Bronx area. Everyone also touted a stellar attitude, which I really appreciated. This also applies to the staff (very nice and helpful people). Please keep up the good work, Reginald Borgella DDS! It's hard to find a dentist office that is A++.

I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.
