As kids, we lose our baby teeth over time. However, as adults, losing teeth is often due to injury. The advanced stage of gum disease could be responsible as well. Since losing teeth at this age isn’t natural, this means issues with smile stability. You could have problems consuming solid foods. Problems talking clearly may develop. Finally, you could risk negative changes to your smile alignment, or even smile’s stability. You need an amazing private dentist in Lexington, AL who can provide prosthetic dentistry. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help locate one.

First, we will help connect you to an experienced dentist in your area. Once we do, your new dentist can examine your smile to assess your tooth loss. For minor cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, restoring smile function. For multiple gaps, partial dentures could offer a solution and address complicated tooth loss. Finally, a complete denture or CD could be crafted and secured. While most fulls and partial dentures are removable, they could be stablized with long-lasting dental implants. Dental implants act as natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your alveolar bone and facial structure following tooth loss.

If you live in the Lexington‘s proximity and have lost your natural teeth, let us know. We can get you started on receiving the tooth replacement you need. Model-worthy teeth are within reach, even if you’ve lost all of your teeth, and even if many years have elapsed since that happened!

P. S. Please applaud our dental surgeons in Nashville, TN with us this week.

There is no substitute for a full smile, but as we age, most of us struggle with tooth loss. Missing teeth could lead to difficulty with eating and speaking, and can even lead to an older appearance. To treat tooth loss, people often turn to implants and fixed dentures. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as dentures or fixed partial dentures, these are connected to posts placed into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like bridges are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but several decades with proper care and attention.

Are you ready to address unsightly gaps with dental implants? If you want to know how much a dental implant costs in Lexington, you are not alone, but first, you need to find a Lexington dentist who can offer surgical placement of dental implants. Doctors Network can help you with this, connecting you to a dental professional who not only can address your tooth loss, but also accepts patients without dental insurance. Same-day appointments are usually available. You can even register for a Doctors Network membership plan to reduce the cost of your treatment.

The dentist will take a close look at your smile. Underlying factors may need to be considered before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer new teeth that look and function like natural dentition!

Major problems arise when we lose natural teeth. Obviously, there are problems with consuming solid foods. Even talking clearly could be a problem. However, the major problem is the loss of mass and density in the jaw. This weakens the jaw, and could even cause an older appearance. More importantly, this limits dental implant placement. Additional treatments could be necessary to strengthen the jaw in order to make dental implant placement possible! Fortunately, Doctors Network could help you book an online appointment with a local Lexington oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is in-network with Obama Care and provides jawbone grafting. In addition, we could also discuss our membership plan to make dental care affordable!

Jawbone grafting is also referred to as ridge augmentation. Essentially this enables the dentist to preserve the ridge in your gums. Your dentist could use various sources. Tissue could be taken from the back of the jaw or the hip. Donor materials like bovine bone may be recommended too. Others recommend synthetic materials. Through oral surgery, these are applied to the areas of weakened structure in the mandibular bone.

Once the area heals, one or more dental implants could be placed. The body will accept them as natural roots. As a result, they help prevent any further breakdown in the jaw, preserving your smile. Our team can connect you to a dentist or oral surgeon in Lexington, AL who performs ridge augmentation and dental implants, and also let you know about our dental discount plan to make sure your care fits your budget!

Tooth loss could lead to several problems for your smile. For example, this could impact your nutritional intake, or how clearly you can articulate. But the most serious complication is the loss of mass and density in the jaw. The body suspends the flow of calcium and phosphate to the areas without tooth roots, which in turn causes bone loss and the loss of youthful facial structure and weakens the structure significantly. Which means you may not be able to receive dental implants to address lost teeth. But Doctors Network can connect you with a dentist in Lexington, AL who can shore up your jaw.

As we’ve discussed in previous posts, a bone grafting procedure helps strengthen the mandible, so it can support dental implants. But what about the upper arch? Instead of adding new tissue, your Lexington dentist could perform a sinus lift. Basically, the dentist will raise the sinus floor to induce the formation of new tissues. The new structure can support one or more implants. Once the new teeth are secured, this stimulates the growth of bone tissue to prevent further breakdowns. Your new teeth then last for decades to come, possibly even a lifetime.

If you need to strengthen your weakened upper jawbone to support one or more dental implants, we could help. Our team can connect you with a Lexington, AL dentist who can address tooth loss and takes new patients. When your smile is strengthened and ready, dental implants could provide a complete smile again. If you don’t have dental insurance, don’t let this stand between you and a complete smile. Instead, talk to our team about our Direct Dental Plan. With a monthly membership fee, you can have treatments discounted by as much as 90% in some situations. A full smile is in your future!

To safeguard the health, function, and beauty of your smile, you need help from a good dentist nearby Lexington, and we can help you find local dental practices that accept most dental insurances!

What happens when gaps appear in your smile? Well, the surrounding teeth could drift from position, leading to crooked or crowded teeth. The pressure on your TMJ and bite balance could lead to painful complications, like jaw joint strain and chronic teeth grinding. You could have difficulty eating your favorite foods, and speaking clearly could be difficult as well. But the most severe complication is the loss of mass and density in the jawbone. This means the stability of your smile is compromised. In addition, facial structure changes could make you appear older! But help is available, as Lexington dental professionals could discuss advanced prosthetics, such as bridges and implants, and select treatment options that could be covered with most dental insurances.

Fixed partial dentures could address minor tooth loss. Dentures could treat more severe cases with full and partial options. For a functional and effective prosthetic, you could find the best Lexington dentists that perform tooth implant. Don’t let tooth loss impact your quality of life, and talk to our team about finding an implantologist!

It is essential for kids to visit a pediatric dentist every six months for exams and cleanings. By teaching your kids great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the knowledge to have healthy smiles for ever. If you are looking for a dental office in Lexington who accepts new patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering exams and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your little one with dental sealants. These are small pieces of BPA-free acrylic that dentists paint onto their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a protective layer between their adult molars and harmful bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of dental caries by up to 80 percent. It is a simple service that is very effective at preventing cavities in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another great tool that your pediatric dentists provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps strengthen your child’s teeth. While enamel is one of the strongest substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your little one’s teeth become more susceptible to cavities. Fluoride treatment prevents this from happening. Using fluoride toothpaste can also help. For more information, please schedule an appointment with one of our pediatric dentists in Lexington.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
