As adolescents, we lose our primary teeth as a natural part of growing up. However, in adulthood, losing teeth means poor oral health. Periodontitis leads to major tooth loss. Since losing teeth at this age isn’t natural, this means issues with smile stability. You could have problems consuming solid foods. Problems speaking clearly may develop. Finally, you could risk negative changes to your smile, or even your facial structure. You need an experienced in-network dentist in Union Springs, AL who can replace missing teeth. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help you on the road to a full smile.

First, we will help connect you to an experienced dentist in your area. Then, your new dentist can examine your smile to understand the factors behind your missing teeth. For minor cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, restoring smile function. For multiple gaps, partial dentures could offer a solution and address complicated tooth loss. Finally, a complete set of dentures could be custom-made. While most complete dentures and partial dentures are removable, they could be supported with titanium implants. Dental implants essentially look and function like natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your maxilla and mandible and facial structure following missing a tooth.

If you live in the Union Springs area and need a solution for tooth loss, let us help. We can help you get started on receiving the tooth replacement you need. Model-worthy teeth are within reach, even if you’ve suffered edentulism, and even if years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please applaud our dental professionals in Nashville, TN with us this week.

You can’t put a price on showing off a perfect smile, but as we get older, many of us struggle with missing teeth. Missing teeth could lead to trouble with eating and speaking, and can even lead to bone loss in the jaw. To treat tooth loss, people often turn to implant-supported prosthetics. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as bridges or removable dentures, these are connected to posts placed into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like dentures are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but several decades with proper care.

Are you ready to tackle your tooth loss with dental implants? If you want to know how much dental implants cost near Union Springs, you are not alone, but first, you need to find a Union Springs dentist who can offer tooth replacement. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dental professional who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also takes patients without dental insurance. You can even register for a Doctors Network membership plan to reduce the cost of your treatment.

The dentist will carefully examine your smile. Underlying issues like gum disease may need to be treated before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer replacement teeth that look and function like natural teeth!

Oral health declines when we lose natural teeth. Obviously, there are problems with eating your favorite foods. Even speaking clearly could be a problem. However, the major problem is the loss of mass and density in the jaw. This weakens the jaw, and could even cause a prematurely aged appearance. More importantly, this prevents dental implant placement. Additional treatments could be necessary to strengthen the jaw in order to prepare the gum for dental implants! Fortunately, Doctors Network could help you book an online appointment with a good Union Springs oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is in-network with discount dental plans and offers jawbone grafting. In addition, we could also discuss our payment plans to make dental care affordable!

Jawbone grafting is also known as ridge augmentation. Essentially this enables the dentist to restore the lost structure in your gums. Your dentist could employ new tissue from multiple sources. We could take tissue from the back of the jaw or the hip. Donor materials like bovine bone may be recommended too. Others recommend synthetic materials. In a surgical procedure, these are applied to the areas of weakened structure in the mandible.

Once the area heals, the dental implants could be placed. The body will see them as natural structures. As a result, they help prevent any further breakdown in the jaw, preserving your smile. Our team can connect you to a dentist or oral surgeon in Union Springs, AL who performs ridge augmentation and dental implants, and also let you know about our dental discount plan to make sure your care fits your budget!

Tooth loss could lead to major issues for your smile. For example, this could impact how easily you eat your favorite foods, or how clearly you can talk. But the most severe complication is the break down of structure in the jaw. The body reduces the flow of calcium, phosphate, and other minerals to the areas without tooth roots, which in turn causes bone loss and an older appearance and weakens the structure significantly. Which means you may not be able to receive dental implants to address your missing teeth. But Doctors Network can connect you with a dentist in Union Springs, AL who can shore up your jaw.

As discussed in previous posts, a bone grafting procedure helps strengthen the mandible, so it can support dental implants. But what about the upper arch? Instead of grafting, your Union Springs dentist could perform a sinus lift. Basically, the dentist will push up the sinus floor to induce the formation of new tissues. The new structure can support one or more implants. Once the new teeth are secured, this stimulates the growth of bone tissue to prevent further breakdowns. Your new teeth can then last for decades to come, possibly even a lifetime.

If you need to strengthen your weakened maxillary jawbone to support a new smile, we could help. Our team can connect you with a Union Springs, AL dentist who can offer a sinus lift and takes patients without dental insurance. When your smile is strengthened and ready, dental implants could provide a full smile again. If you don’t have dental insurance, don’t let this stand between you and optimal oral health. Instead, talk to our team about our monthly membership plan. With a monthly membership fee, you can have treatments discounted by as much as 90% in some situations. A full smile is possible again!

It is crucial for children to visit the dentist bi-yearly for checkups and cleanings. By teaching kids how to take care of their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the knowledge to have healthy smiles for life. If you are looking for a dentist in Union Springs who accepts new patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering exams and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your kid with dental sealants. These are small pieces of BPA-free acrylic that dentists paint onto their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their permanent teeth and germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of tooth decay by up to 80 percent. It is a simple service that is very effective at preventing cavities in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another effective tool that your kids’ dentists provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps fortify your children’s enamel layer. While enamel is one of the most protective substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your little one’s teeth become more susceptible to damage. This procedure helps mitigate this damage. Using fluoride toothpaste can also help. For more information, we invite you to schedule an appointment with one of our network dental professionals in Union Springs.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
