I truly love the staff at Schambeau Dental Care in Bessemer, AL. Everyone is so nice, and the dentist is super friendly. I went to this office a few years ago, but because I was pregnant at the time, they couldn’t treat me right away. So they told me to come back after I had the baby, but it completely slipped my mind. Well, I went today, and the hygienist did my cleaning and explained everything thoroughly. Dr. Schambeau was as nice as always and took me through my treatment plan. Lastly, the receptionist showed me the bill and offered multiple payment options. Since I’m about to buy a home, I need to be careful with spending, but they were very accommodating to my needs. I don’t like to go to the dentist, but when I do need to go, Schambeau Dental Care is the only place I go! I love it there!

As adolescents, we lose our primary teeth over time. However, as adults, losing teeth means poor oral health. Periodontal disease is the number one cause. Since missing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means issues with smile stability. You could have difficulties consuming solid foods. Problems talking are a common consequence. Finally, you could risk negative changes to your smile alignment, or even your youthful features. You need a dedicated in-network dentist in Jemison, AL who can correct your tooth loss. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help find a local dentist.

First, we will help connect you to a skilled dentist in your area. Then, your new dentist can evaluate your smile to understand the factors behind your missing teeth. For mild cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, addressing one to three lost teeth in a row. For several gaps, partials could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete denture or CD could be custom-made. While most complete dentures and partials are removable, they could be stablized with multiple dental implants. Dental implants essentially look and function like natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your mandible and maxilla and facial structure following losing a tooth.

If you live in the Jemison area and need a solution for tooth loss, let us help. We can get you started on receiving bridges or dentures. A full smile is possible, even if you’ve lost all of your teeth, and even if years have elapsed since that happened!

P. S. Please applaud our dental surgeons in Nashville, TN with us this week.

You can’t put a price on showing off a perfect smile, but as we get older, most of us struggle with missing teeth. Missing teeth could lead to difficulty with eating and speaking, and can even lead to a prematurely aged appearance. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to implant-supported prosthetics. Unlike traditional options, such as bridges or removable dentures, these are connected to posts placed into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like bridges are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but several decades with proper care and attention.

Are you ready to replace missing teeth with dental implants? If you want to know how much dental implants cost near you in Jemison, you are not alone, but first, you need to find a Jemison dentist who can offer prosthetic dentistry. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dental office who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also accepts patients without dental insurance. You can even register for a Doctors Network dental plan to decrease the cost of your treatment.

The dentist will carefully examine your smile. Underlying factors may need to be considered before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer replacement teeth that look and function like natural ones!

Oral health declines when we lose natural teeth. Obviously, there are problems with eating your favorite foods. Even talking clearly could be a problem. However, the major problem is the loss of structure in the jaw. This weakens the jaw, and could even cause a prematurely aged appearance. More importantly, this limits dental implant placement. Additional treatments could be necessary to strengthen the jaw in order to make tooth replacement possible! Fortunately, Doctors Network could help you find a good Jemison oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is in-network with Doctors Network Discount Dental Plan and offers jawbone grafting. In addition, we could also discuss our membership plan to make dental care affordable!

Jawbone grafting is also referred to as ridge augmentation. Essentially this enables the dentist to rebuild jawbone structure in your gums. Your dentist could use a number of different options. Tissue could be sourced from the back of the jaw or the hip. Donor materials may be recommended too. Others recommend synthetic materials. In a surgical procedure, these are applied to the areas of weakened structure in the mandible.

Once the area heals, the dental implants could be placed. The body will accept them as natural roots. As a result, they help prevent any further breakdown in the jaw, protecting facial structure. Our team can connect you to a dentist or oral surgeon in Jemison, AL who offers this surgical procedure, and also let you know about our dental discount plan to make sure your care fits in your budget!

Tooth loss could lead to major issues for your smile. For example, this could impact how easily you eat your favorite foods, or how clearly you can articulate. But the most serious complication is the break down of structure in the jaw. The body suspends the flow of phosphate and calcium to the areas without roots, which in turn causes bone loss and an older appearance and weakens the jaw significantly. Which means you may not be able to receive dental implants to address your missing teeth. But Doctors Network can connect you with a dentist in Jemison, AL who can shore up your jaw.

As we’ve discussed in previous posts, a ridge augmentation procedure helps strengthen the lower jaw, so it can support dental implants. But what about the the upper area? Instead of a grafting procedure, your Jemison dentist could perform a sinus lift. Basically, the dentist will push up the sinus floor to induce the formation of new support structure. The new structure can support one or more implants. Once the new teeth are secured, this stimulates the growth of bone tissue to prevent further breakdowns. Your new teeth can then stay in place for years, possibly even a lifetime.

If you need to strengthen your weakened maxillary jawbone to support one or more dental implants, we could help. Our team can connect you with a Jemison, AL oral surgeon who can provide these services and takes patients without dental insurance. When your smile is strengthened and ready, dental implants could provide a complete smile again. If you don’t have insurance, don’t let this stand between you and optimal oral health. Instead, talk to our team about our monthly membership plan. With a monthly fee, you can have treatments discounted by as much as 90% in some situations. A full smile is in your future!

Have you lost all of your natural teeth? If so, this could mean major problems for your smile, from trouble masticating a variety of foods, to difficulties talking. Your jaw loses density and mass following tooth loss, which could lead to further tooth loss. In some cases, an older appearance could develop as well. You could benefit from implant dentures not only to replace missing teeth, but also to keep the jawbone strong. But what if your jaw is too weak for multiple dental implants? Then Doctors Network can recommend a Jemison dentist who specializes in All-On-4 procedure.

Most implant-supported dentures need between 6 and 8 posts per arch. But with All-on-4, you only need four posts. Even if your jaw has lost mass and density this could still support a full set of teeth. No need to undergo ridge augmentation beforehand! These can also often be placed with a denture connected to them on the same visit. In fact, dentists often refer to them as Teeth-In-A-Day. Our team can help find best private dentists in Jemison who can provide you with a new smile. You can even schedule an online dental visit.

If you have a limited budget, then consider signing up for our Direct Dental Plan. This membership program allows you to pay a small monthly fee, which is set by your dentist, to save significantly on the cost of cosmetic dentistry. This helps our Jemison patients find affordable dental care, and smile with confidence once again.

Do you have a missing tooth? Or, have you lost several of them? If so, this could mean impacts beyond the smile esthetics. Over time, you may develop negative impacts on the health, beauty, and function of your smile. In fact, you could even lose many youthful features! To safeguard the health, function, and beauty of your smile, you need help from a good dental professional near Jemison, and we can connect you to dental professionals that accept most dental insurances!

What happens when gaps appear in your smile? Well, the surrounding teeth could shift, leading to crooked or crowded teeth. The pressure on your TMJ and bite balance could lead to painful complications, like TMD or persistent teeth grinding or clenching. You could have difficulty eating your favorite foods, and speaking clearly could be challenging as well. But the most serious complication is the break down of the jawbone structure. This means you risk the loss of even more teeth. In addition, facial structure changes could make you appear older! But help is available, as Jemison dental professionals could discuss advanced prosthetics, such as implants and fixed partial dentures or bridges, and select treatment options that could be covered with most dental insurances.

Fixed partial dentures could replace one to three missing teeth in a row. Dentures could replace the majority or all of your natural teeth. For the most lifelike and durable option, you could find the best Jemison dentists who perform implants. Don’t let missing teeth complicate your daily life, and talk to our team about finding an implantologist!

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
