I truly love the staff at Schambeau Dental Care in Bessemer, AL. Everyone is so nice, and the dentist is super friendly. I went to this office a few years ago, but because I was pregnant at the time, they couldn’t treat me right away. So they told me to come back after I had the baby, but it completely slipped my mind. Well, I went today, and the hygienist did my cleaning and explained everything thoroughly. Dr. Schambeau was as nice as always and took me through my treatment plan. Lastly, the receptionist showed me the bill and offered multiple payment options. Since I’m about to buy a home, I need to be careful with spending, but they were very accommodating to my needs. I don’t like to go to the dentist, but when I do need to go, Schambeau Dental Care is the only place I go! I love it there!

As adolescents, we lose our baby teeth as a natural part of growing up. However, as adults, losing teeth is caused by oral health issues. Periodontal disease is the number one cause. Since missing teeth at this age isn’t natural, this means issues with smile stability. You could have problems eating. Problems articulating clearly may develop. Finally, you could risk negative changes to your smile alignment, or even smile’s stability. You need an excellent in-network dentist in Sylacauga, AL who can replace missing teeth. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help locate one.

First, we will connect you to a friendly dentist in your location who accepts your insurance. Once we do, your new dentist can examine your smile to diagnose the conditions for your missing teeth. For mild cases, a dental bridge could be placed, addressing one to three lost teeth in a row. For several missing teeth, partial dentures could offer a solution and address complicated tooth loss. Finally, a complete set of dentures could be custom-made. While most complete dentures and partial dentures are removable, they could be stablized with long-lasting dental implants. Dental implants act as natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your maxilla and mandible and facial structure following losing a tooth.

If you live in the Sylacauga area and have lost your natural teeth, let us help. We can help you get started on receiving a dental prosthetic. A full smile is possible, even if you’ve lost all of your teeth, and even if years have elapsed since that happened!

P. S. Please celebrate our dental surgeons in Nashville, TN with us this week.

You can’t put a price on a full smile, but as we get older, most of us struggle with the loss of natural teeth. Missing teeth could lead to difficulty with eating and speaking, and can even lead to a prematurely aged appearance. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to implants and fixed dentures. Unlike traditional options, such as bridges or removable dentures, these are connected to posts inserted into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like full and partial dentures are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but several decades with proper care and attention.

Are you ready to address unsightly gaps with dental implants? If you are wondering how much a dental implant costs in Sylacauga, you are not alone, but firstly, you should find a Sylacauga dentist who can offer surgical placement of dental implants. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dental professional who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also takes patients without dental insurance. You can even sign up for a Doctors Network dental plan to decrease the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will take a close look at your smile. Underlying oral health concerns may need to be treated before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer replacement teeth that look and function like natural ones!

Oral health declines when we lose natural teeth. Obviously, there are problems with consuming solid foods. Even speaking clearly could be a problem. However, the major problem is the break down of density in the jaw. This weakens the jaw, and could even cause patients to look older. More importantly, this leaves the smile too weak for implants. Additional treatments could be necessary to strengthen the jaw in order to make tooth replacement possible! Fortunately, Doctors Network could help you find a local Sylacauga oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is in-network with Obama Care and offers this care. In addition, we could also discuss our membership program to make dental care affordable!

Jawbone grafting is also referred to as ridge augmentation. Essentially this enables the dentist to preserve the ridge in your mandible. Your dentist could employ new tissue from multiple sources. Tissue could be taken from the back of the jaw or the hip. Donor materials such as freeze-dried bovine bone particles may be recommended too. We could also recommend synthetic materials. Through oral surgery, these are applied to the areas of weakened structure in the mandibular bone.

Once the area heals, biocompatible dental implants could be placed. The body will see them as natural structures. As a result, they help prevent any further breakdown in the jaw, protecting facial structure. Our team can connect you to a dentist in Sylacauga, AL who offers this surgical procedure, and also let you know about our membership plan to make sure your treatment fits your budget!

Tooth loss could lead to major issues for your smile. For example, this could impact your nutritional intake, or how clearly you can talk. But the most serious complication is the loss of integrity in the jaw. The body decreases the flow of phosphate and calcium to the areas without roots, which in turn causes bone loss and the loss of youthful facial structure and weakens the jaw significantly. Which means you may not be able to receive dental implants to address your missing teeth. But Doctors Network can connect you with a dentist in Sylacauga, AL who can strengthen your smile.

As discussed in previous posts, a bone grafting procedure helps strengthen the mandible, so it can support dental implants. But what about the the upper area? Instead of adding new tissue, your Sylacauga dentist could perform a sinus lift. Essentially, the dentist will raise the sinus floor to induce the formation of new support structure. The new structure can support one or more implants. Once the new teeth are secured, this stimulates the growth of bone tissue to keep your jaw secure. Your new teeth can then last for decades to come, possibly even a lifetime.

If you need to strengthen your weakened jawbone to support a new smile, we could help. Our team can connect you with a Sylacauga, AL oral surgeon who can provide these services and takes patients without dental insurance. When your smile is strengthened and ready, dental implants could provide a complete smile again. If you don’t have insurance, don’t let this stand between you and good oral health. Instead, talk to our team about our Direct Dental Plan. With a monthly membership fee, you can have treatments discounted by as much as 90% in some situations. A full smile is possible again!

Have you lost all of your natural teeth? If so, this could mean poor oral health, from trouble eating a variety of foods, to difficulties speaking clearly. Your jaw loses bone density following tooth loss, which could lead to worsening dental health. In some cases, an older appearance could develop as well. You could benefit from implant dentures not only to replace missing teeth, but also to keep the jawbone strong. But what if your jaw is too weak for a set of implant-secured dentures? Then Doctors Network can recommend a Sylacauga dentist who specializes in performing All-On-4s.

Traditional fixed dentures need between 6 and 8 implant fixtures per arch. But with All-on-4, just four implants are required. Even if your jaw is too weak for a traditional system this could still support a full set of dentures. No need to undergo jawbone grafting or sinus lifts beforehand! These can also often be placed with a denture connected to them on the same visit. In fact, dentists often refer to them as Teeth-In-A-Day. Our team can help find best cosmetic dentists in Sylacauga who can offer these lifelike prosthetics. You can even request an online dental visit.

If you have a limited budget, then consider signing up for our Direct Dental Plan. This membership program allows you to pay a small monthly fee, which is set by your dentist, to save significantly on the cost of cosmetic dentistry. This helps our Sylacauga patients find affordable dental care, and enjoy a full smile again.

Do you have Loose teeth? Or, have you developed several gaps in your smile? If so, this could mean more than just embarrassing gaps in your smile. Over time, you may develop negative impacts on the function, health, and beauty of your smile. In fact, you could even develop major changes to your facial structure! To safeguard the health, beauty, and function of your smile, you need help from a good dental professional near Sylacauga, and we can help you find local dental practices that accept most dental insurances!

What happens when gaps appear in your smile? Well, the surrounding teeth could drift from position, causing dental misalignment. The pressure on your tempromandibular joints and bite balance could lead to painful complications, like jaw joint strain and chronic teeth grinding. You could have difficulty eating your favorite foods, and speaking clearly could be difficult too. But the most severe complication is the loss of mass and density in the jawbone. This means you risk the loss of even more teeth. In addition, facial structure changes could make you appear older! But help is available, as Sylacauga dentists or prosthodontists could discuss dental prosthetics that fit your smile, and select treatment options that could be covered with most dental insurances.

Fixed partial dentures could address a single gap in the smile. All on four dental implants could replace the majority or all of your natural teeth. For the most lifelike and durable option, you could find the best Sylacauga dentists who offer dental implants. Do not let tooth loss impact your quality of life, and talk to our team about finding a cosmetic dentist!

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
