Carlie L.

Normally, I don’t write reviews, but after my experience with Dr. Schambeau, it’s the least I can do for the best dentist in Bessemer, AL! To sum it up, I had an elective procedure but woke up 2 days later with a horrendous toothache. I called Schambeau Dental Care and they fit me in the same day. The office is relaxing and very clean and the staff was fantastic, as was Dr. Schambeau. He gives top-notch patient care, was very helpful and friendly, and was truly looking out for my well-being. Dr. Schambeau actually referred me to a specialist, but he said he’d do what he could until I could see the specialist. I couldn’t have expected a better visit, and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a good dentist in Bessemer, AL. Thanks for everything and for giving me hope that there are genuine, caring dentists out there.

Perhaps, the most common reason to seek dental care is to address pain in one or more teeth. While temporary aches could occur for multiple reasons, including sinus concerns or changes in elevation, one that persists for more than a day could mean trouble. For instance, a lingering toothache could be caused by tooth decay, the early stages of a dental infection, or as a result of weakened enamel due to teeth grinding while asleep. When you have a toothache that lingers, you most likely need a tooth-filling. Doctors Network can help locate dental care in the Adamsville, AL area who takes MetLife!

When the dental professional examines you, imaging technology is used to assess the cause and extent of the cavity. From there, the appropriate treatment option is chosen. For children and adults alike, a dental filling made from biocompatible material could bring relief. A crown could also be used to address more severe cases. When possible, the dentist will take steps to utilize more lifelike options, so they offer a natural appearance. If you have persistent discomfort, use our search module to find Adamsville dentists who take walk-ins and request an appointment in seconds.

Grownups are not the only ones who benefit from regular dental care. Kids need routine preventive dentistry as well, and they need to be monitored by a dentist for issues like tooth decay. This could include dental malocclusion, or for teens, the eruption of the wisdom teeth. If you need to find a family dentist in Adamsville, AL with experience providing pediatric dental care, then Doctors Network is ready to help you.

Routine examinations should begin as soon as all twenty baby teeth erupt, and should not be skipped. These visits enable your Adamsville pediatric dentist to monitor smiles as they grow, and if areas of concern develop, such as toothaches, or gingivitis, then treatment might be required. In addition, children can often receive a topical fluoride gel to strengthen the outer enamel of their teeth and prevent tooth decay. Dental sealants, which coat the hard-to-reach rear teeth, can protect teeth for years to come. In fact, this layer of acrylic can last as long as a decade in some cases.

If you are searching for MetLife family dentists in Adamsville who can provide children’s dentistry, let us know. We want to help you find the right dental care provider. With routine care children not only can enjoy healthy smiles, but they also understand the importance of caring for their smiles. These visits can start them on the path to a lifetime of healthy smiles. All of it starts with that first checkup and cleaning. So, use our search tool to find the best dentist for you!

We’ve reached the time of the year when kids and adults alike will be getting active. While we hope everyone has a great time, we know that dental injuries are possible. In some situations, especially with full contact sports, teeth could be damaged, and when trauma occurs, care is needed. Even minor damages could lead to an increased risk of tooth decay. Doctors Network can help you book an appointment with a dentist that is open on Saturdays in Adamsville, AL who can assess the situation.

The outer layer of the tooth provides protection against tooth decay. The enamel protects the sensitive inner structures from bacteria, and from the risk of dental infection. But when a tooth is fractured, it could increase the risk of tooth decay. You need treatment before your tooth is compromised. Likewise, you should let us know if you need a Adamsville dentist who accepts MetLife for less severe emergencies. Sudden toothaches and objects caught between the teeth could compromise your smile. Don’t forget that knocked out teeth are causes for concern as well. You also need care if a tooth filling or crown comes loose!

After you contact Doctors Network and begin the search for your Adamsville, AL dentist, take steps to avoid complications by taking a store bought pain medication. A piece of gauze can stem bleeding. Using an ice pack can ease facial swelling too. If a tooth is damaged or knocked loose, recover the tooth or any pieces and bring them with you to the dentist. They can be placed in a glass of milk or salt water.

When the season changes, people start going out more and enjoying the beautiful weather, and of course, we want to look our best when we socialize, which is why many people seek cosmetic dentistry. Cosmetic dentistry refers to procedures designed purely to correct common esthetic issues. Teeth stains can be removed, and teeth crowding can be treated with orthodontics. At Doctors Network, we understand the value of a stunning smile. We want to help you book an online appointment with Adamsville cosmetic dentists who take on patients who have MetLife and can offer the range of treatment needed to transform your teeth.

The first step toward a new smile is a consultation with your dentist in Adamsville, AL. The doctor will carefully assess your cosmetic concerns. Using intraoral camera technology for a precise diagnosis, the dentist will assess the extent and cause of your esthetic concerns to find the best treatment plan. For stains, professional teeth whitening could remove discolorations. Dental bonding and contouring can reshape your teeth in one visit. Gum contouring employs dental lasers to reshape the gum line and protect your periodontal health. Porcelain veneers are thin restorations that change a tooth’s shape and color, and for those with major misalignment, Invisalign® may be possible.

If you do not currently have a dentist in the Adamsville, AL area, we can help! Visit Doctors Network to find a provider in your area who accepts patients with MetLife. We want to help you obtain a smile that is also healthy and strong!

According to studies by the Centers for Disease Control, over half of adults older than the age of thirty suffer from gingival disease. Without intervention, this disease could lead to painful symptoms, including sore gums. The advanced stage, known as periodontitis, could also cause tooth loss. This is why care from a Adamsville dentist is necessary when you begin to notice changes to your gums. We can help by connecting you to one that accepts MetLife. After all, we all benefit from routine dental care!

How does the disease start? The changes to your gum tissue could occur due to lack of proper brushing and flossing. Some could develop it due to severe plaque and tartar buildup, or due to tobacco use, inflammatory illness, certain medications, or even other family members with poor gum health. As discussed above, warning signs include discomfort and bleeding in the gums. By seeing a dentist in Adamsville, AL you can receive periodontal treatments like pocket reduction surgery to bring relief and improve your oral health. These treatments could be covered or partially covered with insurance plans.

If you feel concerned, or if you simply haven’t been to a dentist in recent months, you should book an appointment. At Doctors Network, we can make sure you find dentists in Adamsville who accept MetLife. A healthy and whole smile is always possible, and we can help help you find the help you need!

It is essential for children to visit the dentist every six months for exams and cleanings. By teaching children great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the knowledge to have healthy smiles for many years. If you are looking for a dentist in Adamsville who accepts MetLife, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering biannual dental checkups and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your child with protective sealants. Sealants are thin layers of film that go on top of their back teeth. They work as a protective film that forms a protective layer between their molars and harmful bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of cavities by up to eighty percent. It is a simple service that is very effective at preventing cavities on adult teeth in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another great tool that your kids’ dentists provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps fortify your child’s enamel. While enamel is one of the most durable substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your kid’s teeth become more susceptible to cavities. Fluoride treatment prevents this from happening. Using fluoride toothpaste can also help. For more information, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with one of our pediatric dentists in Adamsville.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
