Perhaps, the most common reason to look for a dentist is to address a toothache. While toothaches and sensitivity could occur for multiple reasons, including sinus concerns or changes in elevation, one that persists for more than a day could mean trouble. For example, a persistent toothache could be caused by dental caries, the early stages of a dental infection, or as a result of weakened tooth structure due to teeth grinding while asleep. When you have an aching tooth that does not subside, you most likely need a tooth-filling. Doctors Network can help connect you to a dentist in the Foley, AL area near you who takes MetLife!

When the dental professional examines your smile, digital x-rays are used to assess the severity of the cavity. From there, a dental restoration is chosen. For children and adults alike, a dental filling made from a metal-free material could bring relief. A dental crown could also be used to treat major cavities. If possible, the dentist will take steps to use more lifelike options, so they offer a natural appearance. If you have an aching tooth, use our search page to connect with Foley dentists who are open on Saturdays and book an appointment.

Have you experienced popping or crackling sound in the jaw? Do you have aching jaw and facial pain? If so, this could be related to two common jaw joint issues. Around twenty-five million people in the United States suffer from chronic bruxism and TMJ dysfunction. Without treatment, these could not only lead to painful symptoms, but actually damage the teeth too! Fortunately, your friends at Doctors Network can connect you to a dentist in Foley, AL who accepts MetLife.

While very different from one another, these two disorders are often related. TMJ disorder develops when the the temporomandibular joints become strained. This could cause problems opening and closing the mouth fully. Common symptoms include pain in the head and neck. Bruxism means you grind or clench your teeth nightly. The pressure of clenching could cause jaw pain and headaches. Teeth grinding could also fracture or break your teeth. This damage could lead to decay, infection, and more. Both disorders could be caused by issues that cause bite imbalance, and untreated TMJ disorder could lead to bruxism, and vice-versa. When you have persistent pain in your head and neck, you should find help. We can even connect you with a dentist in Foley who accepts MetLife.

There are, however, multiple treatment options available; for some, relief is possible following dental bonding, which improves bite balance. For others, treating misalignment with Invisalign could ease strain and stop symptoms. The most common option offered by most dentists is an oral appliance, which fits like a night-guard. If you need to find treatment from a Foley dentist. then contact our team!

Do you have a crackled or chipped tooth that needs treatment? If so, the placement of a dental crown could treat your concerns. The restoration is uniquely designed for your smile and can provide function, health, and beauty to your smile. Our team can help connect you to a Foley, AL dental professional who can restore your smile, and also who will accept MetLife. Do not risk a lost tooth!

The first signs of trouble could be a toothache. This could mean the presence of tooth decay. As discomfort worsens, you could risk the spread of infection or even missing teeth. A trauma that chips a tooth could also lead to complications like infection with time. In these situations, restorative treatment is usually necessary. If the problem is too severe for a filling, then you may need crown placement.

The dental crown is a durable restoration. Once placed, this will cover the entire visible portion of your tooth. They could be made from durable, biocompatible materials like metal alloys. However, most dental professionals in the Foley, AL area offer more aesthetic options crafted from resin. The total placement process takes two individual dental appointments. The restoration, whether we use a metal or more natural-looking options, will be personalized for your smile. The custom nature of this dental prosthetic provides a balanced occlusion, protecting your dentition from the onset of bruxism. If you have a tooth that needs repair then talk to Doctors Network. We can help you find the dental offices that fit your needs and accept MetLife.

It is imperative for kids to visit a pediatric dentist bi-yearly for dental visits and cleanings. By teaching kids how to take care of their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for life. If you are looking for a pediatric dental office in Foley who accepts MetLife, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering exams and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your kid with protective sealants. These are thin pieces of film that go over their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a protective layer between their adult molars and harmful bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of cavities by up to 80%. It is a simple tool that is very effective at preventing cavities in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another proven tool that your dentists provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps strengthen your child’s enamel. While enamel is one of the most protective substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your child’s teeth become more susceptible to decay. Fluoride treatment helps stop decay from occurring. Using high-fluoride toothpaste can also help. To learn more, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with one of our dental practices in Foley.

Many folks would be elated to have a whiter smile. When you venture down the aisles of any grocery store, you see myriad products that advertise their teeth whitening abilities. If you have purchased any of these, you know that they almost always provide disappointing results. However, professional tooth whitening can actually give you a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Foley, AL that accepts MetLife, we can help you find one that offers professional teeth whitening.

When you visit your Foley dental care provider, they can provide you with either an at-home or in-office treatment option. Should you opt for treatment in the office, you will only have to stay for roughly an hour. When you visit the office for whitening, your dentist will apply a special bleaching gel that, when activated by a special light, will get rid of stains.

If you would prefer to go with an at-home treatment, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can use along with a safe peroxide solution. You will wear these for a few hours each day for approximately two weeks. Once this treatment is done, you will have a whiter and brighter smile. If you would like to book an appointment with a Foley dentist that takes MetLife, we can help you find a fantastic one.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
