Carlie L.

Normally, I don’t write reviews, but after my experience with Dr. Schambeau, it’s the least I can do for the best dentist in Bessemer, AL! To sum it up, I had an elective procedure but woke up 2 days later with a horrendous toothache. I called Schambeau Dental Care and they fit me in the same day. The office is relaxing and very clean and the staff was fantastic, as was Dr. Schambeau. He gives top-notch patient care, was very helpful and friendly, and was truly looking out for my well-being. Dr. Schambeau actually referred me to a specialist, but he said he’d do what he could until I could see the specialist. I couldn’t have expected a better visit, and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a good dentist in Bessemer, AL. Thanks for everything and for giving me hope that there are genuine, caring dentists out there.

Perhaps, the most common reason to seek dental care is a toothache. While sudden discomfort could occur for many different reasons, including sinus congestion, one that persists for more than a day could mean trouble. For instance, a lasting toothache could be caused by dental caries, the early stages of a dental abscess, or as a result of weakened tooth structure due to teeth grinding while asleep. When you have an aching tooth that does not subside, you most likely need a filling placed. Doctors Network can help connect you to a dentist in the Margaret, AL area who takes MetLife!

When the dentist examines your smile, digital x-rays are used to assess the cause and extent of the cavity. then, the appropriate treatment option is chosen. For children and adults alike, a dental filling made from a composite resin could bring relief. A dental crown could also be used to treat more severe cases. When possible, the dentist will take steps to utilize more lifelike options, so they blend with the smile. If you have an aching tooth, use our search page to connect with Margaret dentists who take walk-ins and request an appointment.

Have you experienced a popping sensation in your jaw? Do you have aching jaw and facial pain? If so, this could be related to two common jaw joint issues. Around 25 million people in the United States suffer from TMJ disorder or bruxism. Without treatment, these could not only cause pain, but actually damage the teeth too! Fortunately, your friends at Doctors Network can connect you to a dental office in Margaret, AL who accepts MetLife.

While very different from one another, these two disorders are often related. TMJ disorder develops when the the temporomandibular joints become strained. This could cause problems when you eat or speak. Common symptoms include pain in the face, head and neck, and jaw. Bruxism means you often grind your teeth or clench your jaw. The pressure of clenching could cause headaches and jaw pain. Teeth grinding could also weaken and damage the tooth structure. This damage could lead to decay, infection, and more. Both disorders could be caused by issues that strain the jaw joints, and untreated TMJ disorder could lead to bruxism, and vice-versa. When you have persistent pain in your head and neck, you should find help. We can even connect you with a dentist in Margaret who accepts MetLife.

Treatment options often vary; for some, relief is possible following crown placement, which improves bite balance. For others, treating malocclusion with braces could ease strain and stop symptoms. The most common option most dentists offer is an oral splint, which fits like a mouthguard. If you need to find treatment from a Margaret dentist. then contact our team!

Do you have a crackled or chipped tooth that requires attention? If so, the placement of a dental crown could treat your concerns. The dental crown is crafted for your dentition and can return function, health, and beauty to your smile. Our team can help find you a Margaret, AL dentist who can restore your smile, and also who will accept MetLife. Do not risk an infection!

One of the initial signs of trouble could be a toothache. This could mean the presence of a cavity. As tooth sensitivity worsens, you could risk the spread of infection or even tooth loss. An injury that chips a tooth could also lead to complications like infection with time. In such cases, restorative treatment could save the tooth. If the tooth defect is too severe for a tooth filling, then you may need to receive a dental crown.

The dental crown is a full restoration. Once placed, this will cover the entire visible portion of your tooth. They could be made from very strong, biocompatible materials like silver. However, lots of dental professionals in the Margaret, AL area offer more lifelike options crafted from resin. The total placement process takes two individual appointments. The crown, whether we use a metal or more aesthetic options, will be personalized for your smile. The custom nature of this dental prosthetic helps ensure a balanced occlusion, protecting your teeth from the development of TMD. If you have teeth that need restoration then use Doctors Network. We can help you find the dental practices that meet your needs and take MetLife.

It is paramount for children to visit a pediatric dentist on a semiannual basis for checkups and cleanings. By teaching your kids great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for life. If you are looking for a pediatric dental office in Margaret who accepts MetLife, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering exams and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your little children with protective sealants. These are thin pieces of film that go over their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their back molars and germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of cavities by up to 80%. It is a simple treatment that is very effective at preventing cavities in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another effective tool that your pediatric dentists provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps strengthen your child’s enamel layer. While enamel is one of the strongest substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your child’s teeth become more susceptible to decay. Fluoride treatment prevents this from happening. Using toothpaste that has fluoride can also help. For more information, please schedule an appointment with one of our dental practices in Margaret.

Many folks would prefer to have a whiter smile. When you venture down the aisles of any grocery store, you see numerous products that promote their teeth whitening abilities. If you have tried any of these, you know that they almost always provide disappointing results. However, professional tooth whitening can actually produce a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Margaret, AL that accepts MetLife, we can help you find one that offers professional teeth whitening.

When you visit your Margaret dentist, they can provide you with either an in-office or at-home treatment option. Should you opt for treatment in the office, you will only have to stay for roughly an hour. For this option, your dentist will apply a gel solution to your teeth that they will then activate with a special light, to remove stains.

If you would prefer to get an at-home treatment, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill up with a safe bleaching solution. You will put these on for a few hours each day for roughly 2 weeks. Once this treatment is complete, you will have a whiter smile. If you would like to schedule a consultation with a Margaret dentist that accepts MetLife, we can help you find a fantastic one.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
