When a tooth becomes abscessed, treatment is required. Lack of treatment means the tooth could become necrotic. At this stage, the tooth may need extraction. Otherwise, the infection moves into the jaw. Often, the ideal treatment for an infected tooth is root canal therapy. This procedure is effective, but sometimes a tooth becomes infected again, and retreatment could be needed. You may need to book an appointment with one of our great Marbury emergency dentists for further treatments.

Root canal treatment involves removing the tissues from the tooth’s interior. The interiors and root canals are thoroughly cleaned, and a restorative material, AKA gutta percha, is then added to the tooth. Often, the tooth is then restored with a full restoration. The restoration is often custom-made to protect the tooth and also match the rest of the smile. But if there are complications with the procedure, the prognosis of the condition could be unpredictable. The tooth could begin developing symptoms, such as toothaches and complications with eating. If you experience this, do not risk missing teeth. Doctors Network can help you find an emergency dental services provider in Marbury, AL that can offer another root canal and accepts patients who do not have dental insurance.

If you don’t have dental coverage don’t let that discourage you! Doctors Network can offer a discount dental plan to make care affordable. With a monthly membership fee, you can obtain a root canal retreatment at a reasonable cost!

When a tooth is grossly decayed, it could become an infected tooth. The presence of abscess means serious discomfort, and without intervention, it could result in progressively worsening discomfort. This is why your tooth may need restorative treatment. Fortunately, there are options available to treat an infection. Our network can help connect you to a Marbury dental professional for root canal therapy. We can also help find a restorative dentist that accepts private patients.

A dental infection means that harmful bacteria have made contact with sensitive tooth structure. The pulp is the nerve center of the tooth, and it controls the flow of blood and nutrients. Lack of treatment for an abscess could allow symptoms to grow worse. A common warning sign of trouble could include swelling near the aching tooth. Don’t ignore a potential symptom. Talk to our team about finding a Marbury dentist who accepts private patients and payment plan options.

A root canal procedure is a gentle endodontic treatment that can be completed in one sitting. Essentially, after the endodontist plans the treatment, the carious tooth structures are removed from within. The interior of the tooth is cleaned, and a special restorative material is added. The last step involves capping the tooth with a custom-made dental crown. The cap is designed to protect the tooth and appear esthetically pleasing. This treatment stops the spread of infection.

Improved diet and oral hygiene habits can help lower your risk of future tooth cavity and dental infections. Routine six-month visits help as well. If you’re looking for root canal therapy in Marbury for dental infection, contact Doctors Network or book an online appointment. You have options, and we know how to find practices that accept private patients.

It is paramount for kids to visit a dental professional every six months for exams and cleanings. By teaching your children how to take care of their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the knowledge to have healthy smiles for life. If you are looking for a pediatric dental office in Marbury who takes private patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering checkups and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your little children with sealants. These are thin pieces of film that go over their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their adult molars and harmful germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of decay by up to 80 percent. It is a simple treatment that is very effective at preventing cavities in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another proven tool that your pediatric dental professionals provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps strengthen your children’s teeth. While enamel is one of the most durable substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your child’s teeth become more susceptible to decay. Fluoride treatment helps stop decay from occurring. Using fluoride toothpaste can also help. To learn more, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with one of our network dental professionals in Marbury.

Many folks would be elated to have a whiter smile. When you stroll down the aisles of any grocery store, you see countless products that advertise their teeth whitening abilities. If you have purchased any of these, you know that they almost always provide lackluster results. However, professional tooth whitening can actually give you a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Marbury, AL that works with self-pay patients, we can help you find one that offers professional tooth whitening.

When you visit your Marbury dental practice, they can provide you with either an at-home or in-office option. Should you opt for treatment in the office, you will only have to stay for roughly an hour. For this option, your dentist will apply a gel solution to your teeth that they will then activate with a special light, to remove stains.

If you would prefer to go with an at-home treatment, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill with a safe whitening solution. You will put these on for a few hours each day for approximately 2 weeks. Once this treatment is over, you will have a whiter and brighter smile. If you would like to schedule a consultation online with a Marbury dentist that accepts self-pay patients, we can help you find a fantastic one.

If it has been a long time since you last visited a dentist, you should schedule an appointment as soon as possible. When you go in for bi-yearly dental checkups, your dentist can thoroughly examine your mouth to make sure nothing is amiss. This helps prevent caries from occurring, minimizing the chance of needing more invasive procedures down the road. If you need to schedule an appointment with a dentist in Marbury, AL that takes uninsured individuals we can help you find a great office.

When you visit your dentist for a checkup, they will start with a thorough cleaning. This will remove tartar that is difficult to remove at home — even with great brushing and flossing habits. The dental prophylaxis will leave your mouth feeling fresh and rejuvenated.

Once your cleaning is over, your Marbury dentist will begin her or his examination. During this portion of your consultation, the dentist will thoroughly look at your oral cavity to identify any potential problems. Should they notice something awry, they will explain your treatment options. The Marbury dentist we set you up with will offer a wide range of services to address a variety of dental complications. If you visit the dentist regularly they can keep track of the health of your teeth. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a visit with a dentist that takes uninsured individuals, we can help you find a great one.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
