Dr. Wesam Alani was inspired by his general dentist father to become a dentist himself. He attended dental school in the Middle East in 1997 and continued his education in the field of Orthodontics. After graduating from the Orthodontics program in 2001, he served as an assistant instructor in the department. That only lasted until 2009, however, when he decided to move to the United States and attend the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Dentistry. Upon graduating with honors in 2013, Dr. Alani received the Dr. Earle Banks Hoyte Teaching Award and the Outstanding Student Award in Prosthodontics.

Adults are not the only ones who benefit from regular dental care. Adolescents require routine dental exams as well, and they need to be monitored by a dental professional for signs of threats to their oral health. This could include dental malocclusion, or for teens, the arrival of wisdom teeth. If you need to find a family dentist in Fort Payne, AL with experience treating smiles of all ages, then Doctors Network is ready to help you.

Checkups and cleanings should begin as soon as all twenty baby teeth erupt, and should be scheduled twice a year. These visits enable your Fort Payne pediatric dentist to watch the smile over time, and if areas of concern develop, such as dental cavities, or gingivitis, then treatment might be required. In addition, children can often receive preventive fluoride treatments to strengthen the outer enamel of their teeth and prevent tooth caries. Sealants, which coat the occlusal surfaces of the posterior teeth, can lower the risk of cavities too. In fact, these protective sealants can protect the teeth as long as ten years in some cases.

If you are searching for family dentists in Fort Payne who can treat your entire family, contact us. We want to help you find a dentist in your area. With routine care children not only enjoy healthy and strong smiles, but they also learn the value of caring for their smiles. These visits can start them on the path to a lifetime of healthy smiles. All of it starts with that first checkup and cleaning. So, use our search tool to find the best dentist for you and your family!

It is crucial for children to visit a pediatric dentist twice a year for exams and cleanings. By teaching children preventative measures to protect their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for life. If you are looking for a pediatric dental professional in Fort Payne who takes patients with no dental coverge, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering checkups and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your child with protective sealants. Sealants are thin layers of film that go on top of their back teeth. They work as a protective film that forms a shield between their back teeth and germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of infection by up to 80%. It is a simple procedure that is very effective at preventing the need for fillings in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another proven tool that your pediatric dentists provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps strengthen your child’s enamel layer. While enamel is one of the strongest substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your child’s teeth become more susceptible to cavities. Fluoride treatment helps stop decay from occurring. Using high-fluoride toothpaste can also help. To learn more, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with one of our network dental professionals in Fort Payne.

Many people would prefer to have a whiter smile. When you venture down the aisles of any pharmacy, you see countless products that promote their teeth whitening abilities. If you have used any of these, you know that they almost always provide disappointing results. However, professional tooth whitening can actually provide a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Fort Payne, AL that works with parivate patients, we can help you find one that offers professional whitening.

When you visit your Fort Payne dentist, they can provide you with either an in-office or at-home treatment option. If you choose the in-office treatment, you will have brighter teeth within about an hour. When you come in, your dentist will apply a bleaching gel to your front teeth that is then activated with a specialized light that removes discoloration.

If you would prefer to go with whitening at home, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill up with a safe bleaching solution. You will put these on for a couple of hours each day for approximately 2 weeks. Once this treatment is done, you will have a whiter smile. If you would like to book an appointment online with a Fort Payne dentist that accepts parivate patients, we can help you find a fantastic one.

If it has been at least half a year since you last saw a dentist, you should schedule a consultation as soon as possible. When you go in for consistent checkups, your dentist can closely examine your mouth to make sure nothing is awry. This helps prevent dental caries from occurring, minimizing the chance of needing more costly procedures in the future. If you are looking for a dentist in Fort Payne, AL that accepts uninsured individuals we can help you find a great practice.

When you go in for an exam, your dentist will begin with a professional cleaning. This will remove plaque and tartar that is hard to remove at home — even with fantastic brushing and flossing habits. The cleaning will leave your mouth feeling rejuvenated.

Once your cleaning is over, your Fort Payne dentist will begin his examination. During this portion of your appointment, the dentist will thoroughly look at your teeth to identify any potential issues. In case anything is out of the ordinary, they can suggest the proper treatment. The Fort Payne dental office we set you up with will offer a myriad of services to address a variety of dental complications. When you visit the dentist consistently they can keep track of the health of your teeth. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment with a dentist that accepts uninsured individuals, we can help you find a great one.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.
