As adolescents, we lose our primary teeth over time. However, as adults, losing teeth is often due to injury. Periodontitis is the number one cause. Since losing teeth at this age isn’t natural, this means issues with smile stability. You could have problems consuming solid foods. Problems speaking could occur. Finally, you could risk impacting your smile, or even your youthful features. You need an experienced in-network dentist in Loachapoka, AL who can correct your tooth loss. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help you on the road to a full smile.

First, we will connect you to a skilled dentist near you. After that, your new dentist can examine your smile to assess your tooth loss. For minor cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, addressing one to three missing teeth in a row. For several missing teeth, partial dentures could offer a solution and address complicated tooth loss. Finally, a complete set of dentures could be prescribed. While most fulls and partial dentures are removable, they could be stablized with long-lasting dental implants. Dental implants are secured like natural teeth, and preserve bone density in your mandible and maxilla and facial structure following missing a tooth.

If you live in the Loachapoka‘s neighborhoods and need a solution for tooth loss, let us know. We can help you get started on receiving bridges or dentures. A full smile is possible, even if you’ve suffered edentulism, and even if years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please applaud our dental surgeons in Nashville, TN with us this week.

When you have a toothache, or a tooth that is injured, you need treatment. Otherwise, the tooth could develop a decay and infections. Soon, there is a risk of not only a lost tooth, but a spread of infection to other teeth. But sometimes, the cavity is beyond the stage to be treated with a tooth filling or a root canal. Instead, the tooth could require an extraction. At Doctors Network, our team can help you book an online appointment with a skilled dentist in Loachapoka, AL who can offer a safe tooth removal as needed.

As we touched on above, advanced decay or injury could be why a tooth needs extraction. But a dentist could also remove one that is loosened by periodontal disease. Extracting a tooth could improve bite balance and chewing function. Extraction could also provide room for correcting misalignment! In many cases, this could prevent the negative impact of wisdom tooth eruption. Removing wisdom teeth prior to eruption helps preserve the balance and smile beauty. For people with advanced tooth loss, removing the last few teeth essentially paves the way for dentures. Your Loachapoka dentist could use this to improve the health, function, and surprisingly, sometimes the appearance of your smile.

Now that you understand when a tooth may need an extraction, how do you seek care for one? Well, as mentioned above Doctors Network can find a general dentist in the Loachapoka, AL area. But if you don’t have a dental plan, you may worry about the cost. Fortunately, we have a payment plan! Our dental membership plan is opened with an initial fee and maintained with a low monthly cost. For some, this could discount care by up to 90%!

You probably know a lot of people who have had their wisdom tooth pulled and are eager to describe their experiences to you. While this can be helpful, it is still necessary to consult with a dental professional. If you need these teeth removed, it is best to have a plethora of information at your disposal. This will help you understand what to expect from wisdom teeth extraction and what you should look for in a dentist. Luckily, Doctors Network can help you connect with a great oral surgeon near you in Loachapoka, AL that accepts patients without dental insurance.

The third molars are in the back of the mouth, and there is one on each quadrant. They typically appear between seventeen and twenty-five. Because wisdom teeth are the last adult teeth, their arrival can cause complications with your existing ones. They can erupt at odd directions, only partially erupt, or overcrowd your existing teeth. When this happens, they are likely to succumb to harmful bacteria. If any of these conditions take place, it can be very uncomfortable and can harm your existing teeth. If you think you might have impediments with wisdom teeth coming in, it is important to see a Loachapoka dentist or oral surgeon hastily.

If you do need wisdom tooth extraction, your doctor will determine how they will go about the procedure to make certain everything goes without complications. They will determine how many of your teeth need to be removed and how complex it could get. They will also assess the appropriate type of anesthesia and the condition of your existing teeth and nerve. Once they ascertain these facts, they can plan your wisdom teeth extraction more easily. When you come in for the procedure, you will receive the appropriate anesthesia, so you will not feel discomfort. Your dentist will extract your teeth and monitor you the entire time to make sure you are ok. Once your wisdom teeth are removed, you will get information about the recovery period. Fortunately, there are many Loachapoka dentists that accept patients without dental insurance and can adeptly remove your wisdom teeth.

It is essential for children to visit a pediatric dentist every six months for exams and cleanings. By teaching kids preventative measures to protect their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the skills to have healthy smiles for many years. If you are looking for a kids’ dentist in Loachapoka who accepts patients with no dental insurance, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering examinations and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your child with protective sealants. These are small pieces of BPA-free acrylic that dentists paint onto their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a shield between their permanent teeth and germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of decay by up to 80 percent. It is a simple procedure that is very effective at preventing the need for fillings in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another proven tool that your pediatric dental professionals provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps fortify your children’s enamel layer. While enamel is one of the most protective substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your kid’s teeth become more susceptible to decay. Fluoride treatment helps stop decay from occurring. Using fluoride toothpaste can also help. To learn more, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with one of our dental practices in Loachapoka.

Many folks would prefer to have a whiter smile. When you venture down the aisles of any grocery store, you see countless products that tout their teeth whitening abilities. If you have used any of these, you know that they almost always provide unsatisfying results. However, professional teeth whitening can actually produce a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Loachapoka, AL that accepts patients with no dental insurance, we can help you find one that offers professional teeth whitening.

When you visit your Loachapoka dentist, they can provide you with either an in-office or at-home treatment option. With the in-office option, you will typically be out within about an hour, and you will have noticeably whiter teeth. When you come in, your dentist will apply a bleaching gel to your front teeth that is then activated with a specialized light that removes discoloration.

If you would prefer to get an at-home treatment, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can use along with a safe whitening solution. You will put these on for a couple of hours each day for approximately 2 weeks. Once this treatment is complete, you will have a whiter and brighter smile. If you would like to schedule an appointment online with a Loachapoka dentist that takes patients with no dental insurance, we can help you find a great one.

If it has been a long time since you last saw a dentist, you should schedule an appointment soon. When you go in for regular checkups, your dentist can thoroughly examine your teeth to make sure nothing is wrong. This helps prevent dental caries from occurring, minimizing the chance of needing more expensive procedures in the future. If you are looking for a dentist in Loachapoka, AL that accepts patients without dental insurance we can help you find a great match.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
