Cori C.

I searched for dentists near me on Google when I had an urgent dental problem, and Dr. Schambeau at Schambeau Dental Care came up. The receptionist was kind and seemed worried because of how much discomfort I was experiencing, so she scheduled me to be seen the following day. I was surprised they could fit me in because they are extremely popular. The next time I had to schedule an appointment, I left a message with the scheduling services and then got a text a day later asking about my appointment. The receptionist kept texting me until we scheduled a time that was good for me. I love how easy it was to make an appointment, especially because I couldn’t talk on the phone at work. The office is also very clean, relaxed, and professional. It’s the best dental office in Bessemer, AL!

As children, we lose our primary teeth as a natural part of growing up. However, as adults, losing teeth is often due to injury. Periodontitis could be responsible as well. Since losing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means issues with smile stability. You could have difficulties with nutritional intake. Problems speaking are a common consequence. Finally, you could risk damages to your smile, or even your facial structure. You need a skilled private dentist in Pea Ridge, AL who can provide prosthetic dentistry. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help you on the road to a full smile.

First, we will connect you to a dentist in your area. Then, your new dentist can evaluate your smile to understand the factors behind your tooth loss. For minor cases, a dental bridge could be placed, addressing one to three missing teeth in a row. For several missing teeth, partial dentures could offer a solution and rebuild your smile. Finally, a complete set of dentures could be custom-made. While most fulls and partial dentures are removable, they could be supported with dental implants. Dental implants act as natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your alveolar bone and facial structure following missing a tooth.

If you live in the Pea Ridge area and have unsightly gaps in your smile, let us help. We can help you get started on receiving the tooth replacement you need. Model-worthy teeth are within reach, even if you’ve suffered edentulism, and even if years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please celebrate our dentists in Nashville, TN with us this week.

When you have a toothache, or a tooth that is chipped, you need treatment. Otherwise, the tooth could develop caries and infections. Soon, there is a risk of not only a lost tooth, but a spread of infection to other teeth. But sometimes, the damage or cavity is beyond the stage to be treated with a tooth filling or a root canal. Instead, the tooth could require immediate removal. At Doctors Network, our team can help you connect with a knowledgeable dentist or oral surgeon in Pea Ridge, AL who can offer a safe tooth removal as needed.

As we discussed earlier, cavities or injury could be why a tooth needs extraction. But a dentist could also remove one that is loosened by gum disease. Removing a tooth could restore overall balance and chewing function. Extraction could also provide room for correcting misalignment! In many cases, this could prevent the negative impact of wisdom tooth eruption. Removing wisdom teeth prior to eruption helps preserve the balance and smile beauty. For people with advanced tooth loss, removing the last few teeth essentially paves the way for a full prosthetic. Your Pea Ridge general dentist could use the procedure to improve the function and health of your smile.

Now that you understand why and when a tooth may need an extraction, how do you seek care for one? Well, as mentioned above Doctors Network can connect you with a dentist in the Pea Ridge, AL area. But if you don’t have coverage, you may worry about the cost. Fortunately, we have a direct payment plan! Our dental membership plan is opened with an initial fee and maintained with a low monthly cost. For some, this could cut the cost of care by up to 90%!

You probably know many people who have had their wisdom tooth extracted and are eager to divulge their experiences to you. While this can be helpful, it is still essential to consult with a professional. If you need these teeth extracted, it is important to have a plethora of information at your disposal. This will help you understand what to expect from wisdom teeth removal and what you should look for in a dentist. Luckily, Doctors Network can help you connect with a great oral surgeon near you in Pea Ridge, AL that accepts new patients.

The third molars or wisdom teeth are in the back of your mouth, and there is one on each quadrant. They usually appear between the ages of seventeen and twenty-five. Because wisdom teeth are the last adult teeth, their appearance can cause issues with your existing ones. They can erupt at unusual directions, only partially erupt, or overcrowd your existing teeth. When this occurs, they are probably going to be affected by bacteria and infections. If any of these conditions take place, it can be very uncomfortable and can affect your existing teeth. If you think you might have issues with wisdom teeth, it is important to see a Pea Ridge oral surgeon or dentist as soon as possible.

If you do need wisdom teeth extraction, your dentist will determine how they will go about the procedure to make certain everything goes smoothly. They will decide which of your wisdom teeth need to be removed and how complex it could get. They will also determine the appropriate type of sedation and the condition of your existing vital anatomy such as nerves. Once they ascertain these facts, they can extract your wisdom teeth more easily. When you come in for the procedure, you will receive the appropriate sedation, so you will not experience any pain. Your dentist will extract your teeth and look after you the entire time to make sure you are doing well. Once your wisdom teeth are extracted, you will get post-operative instructions. Fortunately, there are many Pea Ridge dentists that accept new patients and can skillfully extract your wisdom teeth.

It is important for children to visit the dentist every six months for exams and cleanings. By teaching kids great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the skills to have healthy smiles for life. If you are looking for a pediatric dental office in Pea Ridge who takes private patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering checkups and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your kid with sealants. Sealants are thin layers of film that go on top of their back teeth. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their molars and germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of infection by up to 80 percent. It is a simple treatment that is very effective at preventing cavities in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another effective tool that your dentists provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps fortify your children’s teeth. While enamel is one of the most durable substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your child’s teeth become more susceptible to dental caries. Fluoride treatment helps stop decay from occurring. Using toothpaste that has fluoride can also help. To learn more, we invite you to schedule an appointment with one of our network dental professionals in Pea Ridge.

Many individuals would prefer to have a whiter smile. When you walk down the aisles of any drug store, you see countless products that promote their teeth whitening abilities. If you have tried any of these, you know that they almost always provide unsatisfying results. However, professional tooth whitening can actually produce a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Pea Ridge, AL that accepts self-pay patients, we can help you find one that offers professional tooth whitening.

When you visit your Pea Ridge dentist, they can provide you with either an in-office or even at-home option. If you choose the in-office treatment, you will have brighter teeth within about an hour. For this option, your dentist will apply a gel solution to your teeth that they will then activate with a special light, to remove stains.

If you would prefer to choose whitening at home, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can use along with a safe whitening solution. You will put these on for a few hours each day for roughly two weeks. Once this treatment is done, you will have a whiter smile. If you would like to schedule a visit with a Pea Ridge dentist that takes self-pay patients, we can help you find a fantastic one.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
