Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.

I love going to see Dr. Murphy at Radiance Dental. I’ve had dental anxiety for as long as I can remember, but since I started seeing Dr. Murphy, I’ve been much more at ease. She is very skilled and knowledgeable, always going the extra mile for my husband and me. We are so grateful to have found this dental facility. Dr. Stuart Kaminsky is a fantastic dentist and an absolutely wonderful person. He doesn’t pressure you to pay for services you don’t really need, and his prices are fair. He also takes the time to explain exactly what’s going on with each procedure so that you feel at ease. He answers all your questions. I appreciate that he truly cares. He doesn’t just pop in to say hello and then leave. More than that, his staff is friendly and also treats you like you’ve been a lifelong patient even if it’s your first visit. I’ll always recommend Dr. Kaminsky to anyone in the Syosset area looking for a quality and honest dentist.

Dr. Amir Barati formed Peace Valley Dentistry with his long-time dental partner, Dr. Tom Forte. He is devoted to providing his patients with top-quality dental care and has many years of training and experience to back his practice up. When he is not treating patients at the office, Dr. Barati is attending continuing education courses in reconstructive dentistry, endodontics, dental implants, restorative dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. He also has extensive training in Invisalign technology, implant surgery, occlusion, and root canal therapy. He has spent much of his time studying at the Spear Institute and recently attended a seminar series on facially generated treatment planning. While attending university, he also completed a dental externship program at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He went to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania’s Maxillofacial Surgery Department to complete an internship program as well. During this internship, he spent time treating children at the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Barati also spent time as an educator, teaching the next generation of dentists as a part-time teacher at Penn while working at several private practices. In 2005, he began working with Dr. Tom Forte, who he continues to work with today. When he is not treating patients in the office, Dr. Barati can be found volunteering his services to those in need through the Mission of Mercy and Ann Silverman Clinic.

Dr. Lou Trovato is part of the 1% of dentists in the United States who hold three Fellowships with dental institutions. He is a Fellow and active participant in the American Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, and the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Besides that, he is accredited by the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology for mercury-safe amalgam replacements and is SMART-certified.

Dr. Lou graduated from Council Rock High School in 1974. He graduated from La Salle University in 1987, and in 1982 he graduated with his dental degree from Temple University Kornberg School of Dental Medicine. He graduated as a board-certified neuromuscular dentist in 2010 from the American College of Integrative Medicine and Dentistry. When he is not working in his private practice, Dr. Lou is traveling the country to attend post-graduate education and advanced training courses. Throughout his career, he has received training in oxygen-ozone therapy, neuromuscular occlusal health, integrative dental medicine, and cosmetic dentistry. He has lectured to other dentists on many topics as well, including holistic, health-oriented dentistry and craniomandibular health. Because of his extensive training and certifications, Dr. Lou is able to offer a very wide variety of treatments, making his practice convenient for his patients.
