Dr. Amir Barati formed Peace Valley Dentistry with his long-time dental partner, Dr. Tom Forte. He is devoted to providing his patients with top-quality dental care and has many years of training and experience to back his practice up. When he is not treating patients at the office, Dr. Barati is attending continuing education courses in reconstructive dentistry, endodontics, dental implants, restorative dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. While attending university, he also completed a dental externship program at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Dr. Barati also spent time as an educator, teaching the next generation of dentists as a part-time teacher at Penn while working at several private practices. In 2005, he began working with Dr. Tom Forte, who he continues to work with today. Dr. Lou Trovato is part of the 1% of dentists in the United States who hold three Fellowships with dental institutions. He is a Fellow and active participant in the American Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, and the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. Lou graduated from Council Rock High School in 1974. He graduated from La Salle University in 1987, and in 1982 he graduated with his dental degree from Temple University Kornberg School of Dental Medicine. He graduated as a board-certified neuromuscular dentist in 2010 from the American College of Integrative Medicine and Dentistry. When he is not working in his private practice, Dr. Lou is traveling the country to attend post-graduate education and advanced training courses. Throughout his career, he has received training in oxygen-ozone therapy, neuromuscular occlusal health, integrative dental medicine, and cosmetic dentistry. He has lectured to other dentists on many topics as well, including holistic, health-oriented dentistry and craniomandibular health. He won numerous awards for his outstanding scholastic achievements, leadership, and clinical aptitude while in university including the American Student Dental Association Award of Excellence and the William R. Cinotti Endowed Scholarship. He was a member of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society. After graduating, he attended a General Practice Residency program at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. During this program, he received extensive training in implant dentistry, endodontics, and comprehensive restorative treatment.
