My husband and I have gone to Dr. Taft of Arverne Dental for a few years. He has perfect teeth, but I’m not so lucky. I’ve had a few cavities. I had a crown put in place. The staff did a wonderful job. They are kind and gentle, which really puts me at ease. I highly recommend them if you are in the Arverne area and need a new dentist.

Dr. Taft is a very accomplished dentist. The Arverne Dental office is warm and inviting. The staff is very knowledgeable. At each visit, they have new tips for me to improve my oral health. These tips have helped keep me cavity free!

I’ve been going to Arverne Dental for a year, and I’ve been very happy with the staff and service for my regular cleanings. I decided to write this review because I think what I’m about to say shows the true character of the staff. I messed up the date of my appointment and arrived a month early. The receptionists were so kind. They worked with the hygienists to squeeze me in for X-rays and a cleaning anyway.

It never occurred to me to write an online review of a dentist, but I have been so impressed with Arverne Dental that I felt compelled to inform others of their greatness. Dr. Taft is fantastic. I’m a grad student, so I don’t have a lot of extra money. As such, I appreciated her honesty. She doesn’t try to pressure you into getting unnecessary services just because they are expensive or trendy. During one of my cleanings, the hygienist noticed I had six potential cavities. Rather than encouraging me to have all of them filled, Dr. Taft looked more closely and recommended I try a high fluoride toothpaste to see if that would help. I agreed, and he reevaluated them at my next appointment. I liked that I didn’t have to tell him that I was struggling to make ends meet and that my insurance wasn’t the best. I got a $10 tube of toothpaste and saved myself a huge bill. Thank you, Dr. Taft. You are one of a kind! I’ll be recommending all my friends pay you a visit soon.

I have been to Dr. Lyuba Taft’s office for a while and have loved the customer service I’ve received from them. Initially, I went there because my brother paid for me to have my teeth whitened as a gift. After not having insurance for a while, I finally got to go back. This time, it was for a deep cleaning. My tech was very good at addressing my needs. We overpaid for services and were reimbursed with credit to our account. That was great. I’m a faithful patient and will be returning for years to come!

I went to Arverne Dental for a ct scan to see if I had enough bone for an implant. I know most people despise going to the dentist, and a scan is relatively simple, but I wanted to comment on the high quality care from the staff. Everyone from the receptionist to the person who did my scan was fabulous. Initially, I’d been told that I might have to wait a bit because it was short-staffed, but I barely had to wait. During the scan, they were very positive and gave clear instructions about how to move my head. I only waited 5 minutes, but they were so apologetic. It was an excellent experience.

Dr. Taft is a great dentist, every visit she gives me a new tip on how to have a healthier mouth. When I first met him I was miserable, and part of that was due to severe headaches caused by the terrible condition of my mouth. After having a few procedures done by her I am no longer in pain and my quality of life has greatly improved. She really seems to love her job, she treats you like a fellow human being rather than just another person in his chair. She wants you to be happy after you leave her office.

"This office ROCKS” isn’t just a slogan at Arverne Dental. Dr. Taft was amazing, she was very gentle and obviously knew what he was doing. I Had porcelain veneers put in for a cosmetic procedure. She made sure I wasn’t in pain. I didn’t need much of a dental block, she's just that amazing at his job. I’m very happy with the results. It was a super clean office, and I was greeted by a beautiful and friendly woman at the front desk. My comfort was her top priority. I’ve had a lot of work done over the years, but this place was the best.

Dr. Lyuba Taft is willing to work with your family and your crazy schedule. She is willing to stay after hours if needed to complete your dental work, which my family loves because of our work and school schedules. My family has been going to Dr. Lyuba Taft for five years now, and we’re very satisfied with her work. She walks you through everything she’s doing and tries to avoid the possibly painful and expensive procedures when she can. I can’t even come close to explaining how much we recommend Dr. Lyuba Taft.
