Dr. Rachel Taddeo discovered her passion for public service through dentistry and has devoted much of her time throughout her career to serving the underprivileged. Dr. Taddeo began in Philadelphia, PA, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology at Saint Joseph’s University. She then attended Temple University School of Dental Medicine to earn her master’s degree and Doctor of Dental Medicine.

Following her education, Dr. Taddeo joined the Micmac Service Unit of the Indian Health Services in Presque Isle, Maine, as their first Chief Dental Officer. Providing top-quality care to those in need was a highlight of her career and has become one of the foundations of her practice. Since coming to Maine five years ago, she has fallen in love with the state and hopes to be practicing here for many years to come.
