Dr. Jehyun Anthony Ryu and his family moved to the United States from South Korea in 1978, settling in New Jersey. In 2002, he made Arizona his home, where he has since been dedicated to delivering exceptional dental care to his community.

Dr. Ryu completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering at Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City, graduating in May 1992. Initially pursuing a career in engineering, he discovered his true passion for dentistry and made the transition to the dental field. In 1994, he enrolled at New York University College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 1998. To further enhance his skills, Dr. Ryu pursued an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Columbia University School of Dentistry and Presbyterian Hospital, which he completed in June 1999.

Dr. Ryu’s professional journey includes both public and private practice. He was honored to be selected for New Jersey’s Health Care Provider Loan Redemption Program, which recognizes healthcare professionals who provide essential dental care to underserved communities. From 1999 to 2002, he worked in both a private practice and a community health center in New Jersey.

Since 2002, Dr. Ryu has been practicing privately in the southwest valley. He is skilled in all areas of general dentistry, including root canals, extractions, fillings, crowns, and dental implants, and takes pride in providing comprehensive care for his patients.

Dr. Ryu is a member of several professional organizations, including:
 • Academy of General Dentistry (AGD)
 • American Dental Association (ADA)
 • Arizona Dental Association (AzDA)
 • Central Arizona Dental Association (CADA)

With a commitment to ongoing education, Dr. Ryu has completed over 1,000 hours of continuing education since his graduation and is currently pursuing his fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry.
