About Dr. Yaghoubian
Dr. Yaghoubian graduated from NYU School of Dentistry. He further gained valuable expertise by doing his residency in Brooklyn Hospital and has over 20 years of private practice experience. He was one of the attending dentists at Brooklyn Hospital from 1996 to 2013 and is currently an attending dentist at Southside Hospital. He has worked with students and cutting edge technology to further enhance dental treatment experiences. Throughout the year, Dr Yaghoubian attends many continuing education seminars to stay up to date with the latest advances in dentistry. His main focuses are Implant and restorative services. He has been voted one of the Elite providers for Invisalign for 2015. This knowledge allows Dr. Yaghoubian to create beautiful smiles that function naturally and last long term. He takes pride in providing his patients the best level of care suitable to each individuals needs.

A couple months ago I broke a tooth while my family was in Bay Shore on vacation. I went in to Bay Shore Family Dental to see if they could help me. My fiance recommended them, so I decided to check them out. I hadn’t been to the dentist in a long time, so I needed a lot of work done. They fixed up the broken tooth, which was just an old filling coming out, so it was rather easy. I also had a deep cleaning done. I had a lot of work done, more than my dental plan would cover in one year, but they accommodated me with appointments before the year ended, so that I could get the most out of my dental plan benefits. I worked with 3 different hygienists. I can’t remember their names, but they were all knowledgeable, nice, and kind. So was Dr. Yaghoubian. This place is truly awesome. Everyone here is very nice and they go above and beyond with customer service. I’ve been here about 10 times in the past 5 months, and I’ve never had to wait long at all, not more than a minute or two. My insurance claims are never a problem, and they even call me the day before to remind me about my appointment, which is a big help with my busy schedule. This place is truly the best.
If you’re looking for an awesome dentist in Bay Shore, NY you should check this place out, Dr. Yaghoubian is wonderful. The office staff is kind, friendly, and your comfort is their top priority. I’ve had terrible dentists in the past, especially when I was a kid. I had a doctor who just started drilling as soon as I sat down, with no shot! I can still remember how painful the experience was for me. I’ve also had a dentist give me a shot and then he just started drilling for my root canal. He didn’t let the shot start working, so I was in a lot of pain then too. Dr. Yaghoubian really cares about your comfort before, during, and after the procedure. I’ve already recommended all my friends to this place.
Dr. Yaghoubian and all the staff at Bay Shore Family Dental are great. I’m not the best dentist patient, I get nitrous even when I get cavities filled, but they always make me feel at ease here. The office is gorgeous, I always feel like I’m at a spa here. They go above and beyond any other dentist in Islip. I’m expecting, and they gave me a baby gift at my cleaning today. I can’t recommend them enough.
