Dr. Weidong Yang is an active member of the International Dental Implant Association, the Delaware Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has been extensively trained in many specialty areas of dentistry including implant, periodontal, oral surgery, endodontic treatment, and cosmetic restoration.

Dr. Yang graduated from the Dental School of Xi’an Jiaotong University where he earned his first dental degree. He then completed an Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Resident program and began working as a faculty member and oral surgeon at the Dental School in Xi’an, China. He moved to the US to attend the University of Pennsylvania where he earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry. By then, he was already an oral surgery specialist. After graduating, he worked at the school as a faculty member. During his education, he received numerous professional awards and academic recognition in the areas of technology development, clinical research papers, and patenting.
