Dr. Gregory Chan, DDS, views his profession as central to his identity, emphasizing his dedication to building lasting relationships with patients while delivering comprehensive care in a soothing atmosphere. He believes this approach fosters the creation and maintenance of beautiful smiles throughout his patients' lives.

From an early age, Dr. Chan aspired to work in healthcare, ultimately finding that dentistry perfectly merges artistry and science, allowing him to express creativity while assisting others.

In terms of education, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta in 1990 and obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery there in 1992. He then completed a general practice residency at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont, where he chose to settle down.

Dr. Chan is committed to ongoing professional development, regularly attending continuing education courses at esteemed dental education institutions, including the Pankey Institute, the Dawson Academy, and Spear Education. This training ensures he stays informed about the latest advancements in dentistry. Additionally, he serves as a faculty member at the University of Vermont Medical Center’s General Practice Dental Residency, where he engages with recent graduates, reinforcing his own knowledge.

He is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the L.D. Pankey Alumni Association, and the Vermont State Dental Society.
