Dr. Jeff Horowitz goes above and beyond to stand out from the crowd. He believes in constant discovery and an endless pursuit of knowledge, and has dedicated himself to learning anything and everything he can when it comes to dentistry. Since becoming a dentist and opening the Carolina Center for Advanced Dentistry in 1992, Dr. Horowitz has earned a fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry. This required him to complete at least 500 hours of continuing education as well as rigorous fellowship examinations. To keep his fellowship, Dr. Horowitz completes 25 hours of continuing education every year. Only 7% of dentists nationally share this distinction Dr. Horowitz is also a Mentor at the Kois Center for Advanced Dental Studies, and a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He was the President of the Grand Strand Dental Society, and has been an executive board member of the South Carolina Academy of General Dentistry since 2008. He has lectured at Patterson Dental Company, the Academy for Arts, Sciences, and Technology, the Medical University of South Carolina, Horry Georgetown Technical College, and most recently, the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington. Today, Dr. Horowitz is a member of the American Orthodontic Society, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Association of Dental Sleep Medicine. He has been featured in The Sun News, Coastal Business Life Magazine, and SC Woman Magazine, as well as television news segments on WBTW and WPDE.

Dr. Horowitz's career in dentistry began at the University of Pittsburgh where he earned his undergraduate degree. In 1991, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He then completed a year of general practice residency training at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey, and went on to open his own dental practice in 1992.
