Dr. Jeffrey L. Cohen, DDS, is a highly experienced and accomplished dentist who brings an extensive educational background and a wealth of clinical expertise to his practice. He graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Emory University School of Dentistry, where he studied from 1980 to 1984. Following his dental education, Dr. Cohen completed a Fellowship in General Dentistry at Yale University School of Medicine between 1985 and 1986. He also attended Claremont Men’s College from 1977 to 1980.

Dr. Cohen’s commitment to continuous education is evident through his extensive hands-on training in various advanced dental techniques. He has received specialized instruction in surgical site preparation under Dr. Joe Mehranfar, bone augmentation and bone grafting from Nobel Biocare, as well as implant placement training from both Nobel Biocare and Straumann USA Implants. He has also studied advanced endodontic residency under Dr. John West and Dr. Stephen Buchanan and participated in advanced occlusion courses with Dr. Frank Spear.

Dr. Cohen holds certifications in oral conscious sedation (DOCS) and is a valuable member of several prestigious professional associations, including the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society. His commitment to advancing his expertise extends to affiliations with the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Laser Dentistry, and the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education.

Additionally, Dr. Cohen is actively involved in the Craniofacial Reconstruction Team at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, helping children in need of complex dental and facial surgeries. He also participates in the Rotary Club of Covina and the Pasadena Athletic Association, contributing to his community both personally and professionally.
