Dr. Timothy Oh is a highly qualified dentist with a variety of accolades and experiences under his belt. Always interested in furthering his education and others, Dr. Oh has dedicated much of his life to teaching and providing new learning opportunities to dentists. In 2010, he founded the Caring Hands of Maine. This non-profit organization works to discover new solutions to the oral health problems of patients of Eastern Maine. In 2012, he was given the title “Maine Oral Health Hero” by the Maine Dental Access Coalition.

Dr. Oh served as a member of the Mainecare Dental Advisory Committee and the Maine Oral Health Coalition. He served as Chair of the MDA Executive Board in 2013 and 2014 and was President of the Maine Dental Association from 2014 to 2016. In addition to that, Dr. Oh has served on various other councils and committees within the American Dental Association.

His involvement with higher education has also been abundant, earning prestigious honors and fellowships with the International College of Dentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and the American College of Dentists. He served as chair of the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health Alumni Board and continues to serve as a member of the faculty there. Dr. Oh is presently a member of the faculty at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and New England College of Dental Medicine as well. He has also spent time working at the University of Maine.
