Dr. Basso, a graduate of the University of Southern California Dental School, has consistently pursued further education in dentistry over the past 20 years. He is dedicated to staying updated with the latest advancements in dental research and techniques. His advanced training includes implantology at UNLV, making him a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Additionally, Dr. Basso is highly trained in treating Sleep Apnea and is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He holds the highest laser certification from the World Clinical Laser Institute and sedation licensing from DOCS, a leading dental sedation organization.

He is an active member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor dental society.

Dr. Basso enjoys life in North County with his wife and three daughters. Together, they are active in church, school, and community volunteer organizations. In his personal time, Dr. Basso enjoys surfing, scuba diving, exercising, and spending quality time with his family.
