He was attentive and careful, and his dental assistant was so sweet. They worked really well together, and Dr. Afridi was always complimenting her skills. Clearly it’s a happy staff and a happy dentist, which makes me a happy patient! When I go to Dr. Afridi, I know he’ll take good care of me. The office decor is so lovely, too! They helped me fill out my forms, which was really nice. It made me feel important and not just like another patient. I’ve had all positive experiences since I started going to Everlasting Smiles Dental a few years ago. They never make me wait too long to be seen. The front office staff is kind, skillful, and smart when it comes to questions about appointments or your insurance. At my last dentist, I spent many long hours in the chair to get a few crowns done. It seemed like all they did was create more issues. I had to be numbed multiple times for the same crown. I started going to Dr. Afridi, and he did two crowns in one appointment - wow, what a difference! I was worried about one of the crowns he put in, so I went back. He explained that I had nothing to worry about. Another time, I paid for an expensive night guard, but it broke after just a few months of use. They made me another one and didn’t even bill me for it. Plus, Dr. Afridi is really active in the community and clearly cares about everyone in Glen Oaks. I’m so glad that he’s my new dentist.

A few years ago, my husband and I moved to New York, and that’s when I met Dr. Afridi. As soon as I met him, I knew I could trust him, and finding a trustworthy dentist in a new area is never easy! I needed a lot of dental work, but he kept me comfortable the whole time he did my fillings and crowns. I did visit another dentist in Glen Oaks, but it was just okay. I recently went to Everlasting Smiles Dental for a regular teeth cleaning. My hygienist did the scaling on my teeth, and it was absolutely painless, which is so unheard of! She even discovered a piece of cement that another dentist left in my mouth after putting a crown on my tooth. She removed it for me. Incredible. I wish I could give them more stars. The receptionist/bookkeeper always helps me navigate my insurance and what I owe as well as scheduling appointments. All the great reviews are true. Though I did wait a little bit, I’ve had to wait longer at other places, and I guarantee they only made me wait because patients weren’t coming in on time, which will push back all the other appointments after it. Or maybe Dr. Afridi was tending to an emergency and wanted to make sure his patient was being taken care of. I would happily wait a long time if needed just to get the high level of service and dental care this place has to offer, knowing that once I get in the dental chair, they won’t rush me out to keep on schedule. This office is fantastic. Everlasting Smiles Dental runs so smoothly. Everyone’s competent and timely, and they all seem to love their jobs. They all know you and remember little details you tell them even though they haven’t seen you since your cleaning six months ago. The facility is gorgeous, and they have a lot of high-tech equipment that benefit your oral hygiene and health. If you’ve had problems at other dental offices, I highly recommend you check out Dr. Afridi’s office. They will change your perspective of getting dental work done. My family has been seeing Dr. Afridi, and we think he’s nothing short of attentive, competent, intelligent, careful and highly trained. Dr. Afridi did many implants for my elderly mother. He was very careful not to hurt her and really took his time. The end result was great - to this day, she can still eat solid foods! A few years after the implants, however, she developed gum disease and an infection (probably a lack of oral hygiene), and her last dentist never said anything about it. Dr. Afridi was able to save her teeth and implants. He saw her right away and followed up to make sure everything was going alright. We don’t want anything like that to happen to her again, so now he’s in charge of her dental care from now on. As for myself, I had a calcified front tooth due to a bad root canal from a specialist. I really don’t blame him though because I knew it was a potential complication. My general dentist referred me to Dr. Afridi for follow-up treatment and an implant. I was scared and wanted to be knocked out during it, but he promised it wouldn’t hurt. And he was right. Even though I needed bone generation and gum generation for my implant, they were able to give me a temporary tooth on that same day. The entire procedure was pain free, and the end result was beautiful! Everlasting Smiles Dental is conveniently located in Glen Oaks, NY. It’s spotless and efficient with a warm, amazing staff. My coworker actually did a similar procedure to mine at another place because it was cheaper, and he went through a ton of pain and couldn’t go to work because of it. Therefore, he really didn’t save any money. The only place I’d ever go for extensive dental work like that would be to this office. I strongly recommend Dr. Afridi.

This place has great customer service, I’ve never had better. From the receptionist and the hygienist and Dr. Afridi, everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Your comfort is their number one priority. They want to make sure the TV’s OK, if I need a pillow, if I’m numb enough during a procedure, or if I would want a paraffin wax treatment. They truly think of everything. The doctor makes sure you’re comfortable and is very compassionate. There’s no rush with him, he’s willing to take his time. He even does follow up calls after a procedure, which I’ve never seen before. I actually enjoy going to the dentist now.

Dr. Afridi and his staff are very kind and friendly. I hate going to the dentist, and I am always wary when a dentist tells me that a lot of work needs to be done on my teeth in Glen Oaks. I always worry they’re just saying that to get more money out of me. I’ve had 3 appointments with Dr. Afridi (initial consultation, filling, and removal of 2 old crowns, which were then replaced with temporary ones, and I finally went in for the new permanent ones today). Dr. Afridi never said I needed more work than that done, which I appreciated. I’m very happy with his work so far.
