Dr. Whitley earned his undergraduate degree from NC State University and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. At his private practice, Dr. Whitley’s passion for dentistry shines through in the way he values high-quality dentistry practices and doctor-patient relationships. Dr. Whitley believes that providing his patients with comfortable, convenient, and quality healthcare is key. When Dr. Whitley is not working at his private practice, he spends his free time volunteering with organizations such as the Baptist Dental Bus, the ADA Foundation’s Give Kids a Smile program, and Missions of Mercy.

Dr. Whitley is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the North Carolina Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the Onslow County Dental Society. He is also a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
