Dr. Ben Gilbert has called Juneau home since 2004, where he lives with his wife, April, and their four children. Originally from the Midwest, Ben has always had a love for the outdoors, enjoying activities like fishing, hiking, and exploring nature. When the Gilbert family discovered Juneau, they knew it was the perfect place to settle and raise their family.

Before pursuing his dental career, Dr. Gilbert spent two years in Argentina as a missionary, an experience that sparked his interest in Spanish. He continues to practice the language during his annual dental service trips to Central America.

Dr. Gilbert attended Brigham Young University before being accepted into the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where he earned his dental degree. He is an active member of the the American Dental Association (ADA), the Academy of LDS Dentists, Alaska Dental Society (ADS), and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
