Since beginning her dental career in 2009, Dr. Seran Ng has become widely recognized for her gentle, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach to treating children, especially those facing complex dental challenges, multiple cavities, or dental anxiety. Known for creating a stress-free and welcoming environment, Dr. Seran is dedicated to making dental visits a positive experience for every child.

Born in Hong Kong, Dr. Seran comes from a family with a strong dental legacy, with her great-grandfather being a dentist. She completed her dental studies at Temple University in Philadelphia before advancing her training with a year-long oral surgery program at Tufts University and Tufts Medical Center in Boston. After moving to California, she volunteered at the Kids Community Dental Clinic, where she discovered her passion for pediatric dentistry. To further enhance her skills, Dr. Seran completed an additional two years of specialized training in pediatric dentistry, hospital dentistry, sedation, and interceptive orthodontics at UNLV School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Seran and her team at Kids Dental Home are excited to continue serving the La Puente community. Her goal is to provide a comfortable, child-friendly environment where children can learn about dental health, receive essential care, and develop lifelong habits for maintaining their smiles. The practice is designed to ensure that every visit is enjoyable and anxiety-free, using creative and relaxing techniques to help children, particularly those with dental fears, feel at ease.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Seran is a faculty member at UCLA School of Dentistry, where she teaches dental students in community dental settings. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and an active member of the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society, and OKU, a national honor society in dentistry.

Fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese, Dr. Seran is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to children of all backgrounds, ensuring that each child’s visit is a positive step towards lifelong oral health.
